Lou well, the president s command of language is sometimes suspect and unsure. And his answers to the simplest question can often create even more questions as did those answers. Does his answer about the 99. 9 of muslims, as he put it suggest we are not aligned with all who seek only order, peace and prosperity . Is or is he suggesting that most muslims are not aligned with us . And whose responsibility is it, after all, to be aligned . And then the president says hes not quibbling with labels although that is obviously precisely what he is doing. And this coming from a president and an administration which have deemed the Islamic State jv but not islamic. He calls the taliban an armed insurgency but not terrorists. And alqaeda he acknowledges to be terrorists but on the run and decimated. President obama implies too often for my taste that plain old american citizens like you and me are too stupid to distinguish between plain old muslims and plain old radical islamist terrorists. So he feels obliged to not overtax our feeble little minds and, therefore he feels he must not speak either plainly or specifically or, as it turns out, truthfully.
