Now, you compare that with Hillary Clinton<\/a>, her largest rally actually was the one that kicked off her campaign with 500 people, Bernie Sanders<\/a> has grabbed a big chunk of people, i think his record is 28,000 people. But everyone says money, thats how you win the white house in november. Evan and richard. Richard with ill go to you first. When i see the photos of Hillary Clinton<\/a> events, and i see the photos of Donald Trumps<\/a> events, im like it feels like a heavy weight going against a featherweight. And you know what i love the votes . Shes gotten 2 million more votes than donald, 3 million more than Bernie Sanders<\/a>, both of whom who are having these huge rallies; right . So thats ultimately at the end of the day what matters. And i will say one thing. Theres zero correlation between primary turnout and general election outcomes. Thats been shown ever since the 1976 elections, theres none. So i understand people are kind of charles but would you not agree, though, richard shes got an enthusiasm people. People simply arent falling head over heels for Hillary Clinton<\/a>. Well, heres where she has very enthusiastic voters. Black and hispanic are registering in big numbers because they are scared to death of United States<\/a> charles what about the the other voters of america . People are not excited about Hillary Clinton<\/a>. Well, you know, again, i think the clinton people will gladly take that three million vote differential over sanders any day over big rallies. What does sanders have to do with it . And as far as the trump issue goes, trump ran in a 17person primary. Clinton was effectively in a threeperson primary and only has less than 2 million votes than trump. And after were all done with california, trump will be within one million. So well take those numbers any day. And more broadly, of course enthusiasm matters. Republicans come out and droves, more than any other republican primary in history this season. And that is because donald trump is an unusual candidate and thats unquestionably going to continue into the general. Charles now, evan, i know that during the primary process, you werent on the trump train, and you pointed out how a lot of republicans didnt vote for donald trump. At least for, you know, i think he got 10 million votes or 15 million before i stopped counting. But more and more of those folks are saying, hey, donald trump is our nominee, im going to vote for him. So ultimately you add up all of these votes that voters are talking about, thats a significant Enthusiasm Gap<\/a>. Yes. There is a huge Enthusiasm Gap<\/a>. Hillary clinton rallies, there are tumbleweeds actually going through. Whereas charles are they wearing hats and banners . Thats all that matters. You get a hat on one of those things, its okay. Hillary doesnt have a message or anything. What she does have unlike trump is a digital operation and a field operation. If she had enthusiasm, that would be great. And its the exact opposite with trump. He has this enthusiasm, but he cant get that he has no infrastructure there to get his supporters out and show charles but isnt that what we heard throughout the primary process, though . Getting both out. Youre right. We need an operation and the general Campaign Just<\/a> like a mccain but that being completely built up, just elevated to campaign strategist.
