Americas election headquarters starts right now. We begin this hour with a fox news alert. Tropical storm hermine remains a force to be reckoned it as it churns up the east coast bringing heavy rain and strong winds. And its still a very dangerous storm. Forecasters are saying hermine has a potential, potential to regain its power as a hurricane as it moves north. The Tropical Storm already bringing heavy rain and high water to North Carolinas outer banks. We have fox team coverage. Janice dean is tracking this storm in the fox news extreme weather center. But we begin with caroline schiavoly live in Kill Devil Hills in North Carolina. What can you tell us . Reporter well, the rain has stopped for now but the winds is brutal. Its taking the sand and shoving it forward. Its like needles hitting you if you turn around in to it. You can see the waves are huge. The as well the swells with massive. This is the avalon fishing pier. We watched part of the roof rip off of this building earlier. The waves are coming up to the bottom of the pier. Answer lu absolutely huge. You can also see the seafoam. It almost looks like a popcorn machine coming, shoving, pouring over the cars throughout the parking lot here. The major bridges in and out of the outer banks have been shut down. These winds are just too strong for people to be able to drive in and out. A tractor trailer hit the railing earlier today. A terrible accident. We have heard of at least four people being sent to the hospital for injuries. Back to you. All right, out there in the midst of that storm keeping close watch on whats happening in that part of the world. For more on where hermine is heading lets get to janice dean who is live in the Fox Extreme Weather Center right now. J. D. , what can you tell us . We just got a new advisory from the National Hurricane center. The storm is now 70mileperhour sustained winds. We are calling this extra tropical because its losing some of its tropical characteristics but there is the potential for it to regain its hurricane strength over the next couple of hours. And theres the satellite right now. So 70mileperhour sustained winds. Ive seen wind gusts in success of Hurricane Force along the North Carolina coastline as we watch this storm not only today, tomorrow, but in through the workweek a very strong storm system. As i said, theres good confidence we could be dealing with a hurricane again in the next couple days. Theres monday coming very close to the shore. And the problem is, as this storm sits and spins, its going to continue to bring battering waves, storm surge along the coast and this could be potentially dangerous or devastating along the coastal beaches. And we have great confidence in our forecast models in the next 12 to 24 hours. But as we go further out in time, were not quite sure. And thats why we have that cone of uncertainty that moves closer to the shore for jersey as well as long island, new york city, youre in a Tropical Storm warning right now. All the way up to new england. 70mileperhour sustained wind storm. Again, you can see this is going to be with us well into tuesday. Thursday finally moving to the north and east. But, uma, we have to be very concerned for millions of people along the coast here. Hopefully people are listening, it is a long Holiday Weekend and they need to make their preparations now. Back 20 you. They need to brace for the winds and rain coming their way. Janice, also, Mother Nature packing onetwo punch with a 5. 6 magnitude earthquake hitting oklahoma this morning. Big deal. 5. 6 magnitude. This ties for their strongest earthquake in oklahoma. And you can see some of the pictures we are getting in right now. Moderate earthquake. So we are seeing some structural damage and images that are coming in. You know, bricks in houses that are coming to the ground, that kind of thing. And certainly some of the stores were seeing, products on the ground. So you know, this is a big deal. You can see within the last day or so, within the last ten days weve had several earthquakes here. But magnitude 5. 6 is obviously a big deal for north oklahoma when you look at the classification of the magnitude scale here, thats 55. 9 is a moderate. A great earthquake is 8 plus. And that certainly hasnt happened in oklahoma. But they are feeling it. Back to you. Indeed. None the less, earthquake for that part of the world. Thank you for the update. Of course. It want to work with you to renew the bonds of trust between citizens and the bonds of faith that make our nation strong. Thats donald trump making his pitch to the Africanamerican Community today while visiting a church in detroit. Now, the republican nominee receiving a warm welcome from parishioners there but it was a very different story outside the church where there were protesters who were very angry by his visit. Peter doocy is live from detroit with the latest. Peter . Uma, donald trump said he came to this inner city Detroit Church to listen and to learn. And his remarks very well received by an enthusiastic crowd. Becoming the nominee of the party of Abraham Lincoln, a lot of people dont realize that. Abraham lincoln, the great Abraham Lincoln was a republican has been the greatest honor of my life. It is on his legacy that i hope to build the future of the party but, more important, the future of the country and the community. I believe we need a civil rights agenda for our time. That civil rights agenda trump says would be primarily focus and making sure people in this community have jobs, better school, and an outlet to make sure the rest of the country is aware of the problems facing africanamericans in cities like detroit. And trumps speech was very specifically tailored to this audience saying that africanamerican churches are one of gods greatest gifts to this country. Now, from here at the great Faith Ministries trump and dr. Ben carson went on to visit dr. Carsons old house here in detroit. They had a friendly meeting with the woman who moved into carsons house 25 years ago. But, not everybody is so friendly. Not everybody glad to see the gop nominee here. About 50 very aggressive protesters tried to breakdown a barricade outside the great Faith Ministries at one point trying to wrestle a temporary barricade away from security guards and the proes ters were not just upset about trump coming to town. They were upset with the man who invited him, pastor wayne t. Jackson. Pastor jackson did interview trump for the impact network, thats the only africanamerican owned and operated Christian Television network in the country. Were not going to see clips of that interview which is an important part of trumps outreach to the Africanamerican Community. But we know that it went well because trump tweeted, thanks for having me, thanks for the interview. Uma . Peter, thank you very much. So donald trump is trying to make inroads with the traditionally democratic voting bloc. Appearing at that Church Service for the first time in this election cycle. Will his efforts have an impact . Joining us now with some insight, governor Mike Huckabee, former 2016 gop president ial candidate, and the former governor of arkansas. Welcome. Great to have you here on the show today. Thanks a lot, uma. Great to be back. Let me get your take on this. He was there in that church and it was a very different sounding donald trump in that take the microphone there. Very interesting indeed because, you know, he was getting some flack from critics who were saying hes making an outreach to africanamerican voters but not speaking to africanamerican audiences. So now hes doing that. Whats your reaction to this . Its a very smart move on Donald Trumps part. I thought it was bold for him t. Go to a place where most people wouldnt expect he should show up. I have long said republicans ought to be getting the votes of africanamericans because for several decades the Africanamerican Community has been giving almost whole heartedly their votes to democrats and the result, its been dismal. Dismal educationally. Dismal in terms of jobs. Dismal in terms of the number of young africanamerican males who are imprisoned. Economic opportunities lost and totally devastated. The families really been hurt by policies that have been thwart by the left. So i think its a very, very significant move. And something that more republicans should have been doing for many years. Lets talk about some of his words to that audience saying that he wants to listen and learn from the Africanamerican Community and he wants to restore lincolns legacy to the gop. What does he mean by that . The fundamental difference between the way the democrats and republicans approach the issue is the democrats approach it from the standpoint of groups. The youre a woman, youre in the group of women. If youre labor youre in the group of labor unions. If youre a minority, youre in the group of minority. And only the group gets better can you get better. Republicans see things from a standpoint of each individual. Each individual has freedom. Each individual has liberty and opportunity. And you are not tied to a group. Youre tied to your own aspirations and your own abilities and capacities. And when you begin to challenge people to rise above anything around them and achieve that which they dream, thats what changes peoples lives. And its the really fundamental difference, i think, between, if you will, the democrats and republicans and the left and the right. Now, you know, people can choose either one. But there is a difference in how we approach that aspect of application of personal freedom and personal responsibility. This has been a very busy week for donald trump. Earlier in the week he was in mexico and then also in arizona talking about this specifics for his immigration policy. Overall, how do you think he is fairing as a candidate this week given the fact that he is going to places where there are theres controversy and not everyones very receptive but the fact that hes make that effort, how do you grade him . See, i think thats incredibly powerful. He went to mexico. Nobody expected that we h would go. And those who were shocked that he went, his critics said, hell blow it. Either thing happened. He went. And he came across with a great deal of diplomacy. He was president ial. I think even his harshest critics had to say, gee, it was a good moment for donald trump and it was. Because it showed that hes a fearless person when it comes to dealing with issues and challenges that are in front of him. When he made that speech he was very specific in outlining ten very, very detailed things. Now, there have been some criticism but i dont know how people can listen to that speech objectively and i mean objectively, and come away with anything other than heres a person who respects legal immigration, he respects the incredible benefits that have been brought to this country by those who have immigrated. I thought he paid enormous tribute to immigrants to america but he also made it very clear that the purpose of the american president is to put america first. And how anybody could find that offensive, frankly, uma, is beyond me. You know when you talk about security concerns and something that hes very passionate about but yet in a recent fox news poll when voters were asked who do they feel can handle security better, Hillary Clinton still comes out on top. I cannot imagine why. I mean, this is a person who cannot keep anything private. She didnt even know that c stood for classified on top of those documents. She lost 13 different email devices or at least had different ones even though she pretended that she only had one device to whole time. Flat out lied about that. So how anybody could think that Hillary Clinton could be trusted with National Security when she couldnt even be trusted with an emails that she said were nothing more than some communication about her daughters wedding and yoga classes, i just dont think theyre paying attention. They must be reading comic books and not the newspapers because even New York Times and Washington Post reports, and theyre so favorable to hillary, even they have had to acknowledge she is enshrined in scandal after scandal and in discrediting mess after discrediting huckabee, always good to see you. I know youre keeping close watch as donald trump continues to outreach to different minority groups president in the country. Donald trump getting his Second Intelligence briefing from u. S. Officials this week. Lieutenant general Michael Flynn joins me next to talk more about that briefing and the Global Threats that were discussed. Plus, a document dump from the fbi shedding more light on its investigation into Hillary Clintons private email server. But gaps remain as we learn more about the questionable way her team disposed of some of that information. This smashing of this devices, the blackberry she had used over a dozen, which is just incredible, was probably the most secure thing she did related to her blackberry use. He is. But id like to keep being terrible at golf for as long as i can. New patented ensure enlive has hmb plus 20 grams of protein to help rebuild muscle. For the strength and energy to do what you love. New ensure enlive. Always be you. Mapping the oceans. Where we explore. Protecting biodiversity. Everywhere we work. Defeating malaria. Improving energy efficiency. Developing more clean burning natural gas. My job . My job at exxonmobil . Turning algae into biofuels. Reducing Energy Poverty in the developing world. Making cars go further with less. Fueling the global economy. And you thought we just made the gas. Energy lives here. Welcome back, everybody. The fbi releasing a summary of its interview with mrs. Clinton involving allegations that classified information was stored on her personal server. Potentially putting National Security at risk. You may recall the fbi did not recommend charges against the former secretary of state. Those documents raised further questions about her repeated claims that she handed over everything that was work related. I did not email any classified material to anyone on my email. There is no classified material. So i certainly well aware of the classification requirements. And i had not sent classified material nor received anything marked classified. I did not send classified material and i did not receive any material that was marked or designated classified. I believe and have said many times that i take classified material seriously. And there were no materials that were marked classified. Earlier i spoke to the former director of the Defense Intelligent Agency Michael Flynn who says these documents raise further concerns. She should have known better and she should have known better from day one and i think that theres a reason why were continuing to find out more and more about this. Now i also think theres a reason why that we have 33,000 emails that were essentially bleach washed so nobody could getting access to them. Why would you bleach wash yoga lessons . And emails about wedding plans. Or wedding plans. Right. Bleach washing . Thats extensive. She has severely impacted the nations security by the leak by the disclosure of this information that she has disclosed that weve already learned about from the fbi director. So i just think its a shame that the people of this country are not being told the total truth. She basically also answered questions regarding this information saying that she left the handling of classified information to her subordinates. So she put it on them. Again, she wants to be commander in chief. You know, a commander is responsible for all the good and all the bad that happens in their organization. Is she going to now throw her subordinates underneath the rug . Shes just going to how disloyal is that . How disloyal for somebody to say, well, you know, uma, im blaming it on you. You know . And i think i think that, you know, again, if she wants to be the commander in chief of this country, commanders take responsibility for all that is good in their unit and all that is bad in their unit. If shes going to say, well, its my subordinates problem, theyre the ones to blame, oh, my god, i mean, i cannot imagine anybody that has ever served in our military, ever, that means all these other people out there in our country somewhere that are going to go vote, ever, listen in to this and saying, and going and voting for her. I hope the American Public do not become numb to this because we are talking about electing a president of the United States and c
