If you look around this apartment complex, you can see the destruction. Cars mangled, homes crushed, trees snapped like tooth picks and downed power lines. A few neighbors say they werent able to fully assess the damage in the dark last night but now that the sun is up unfortunately this is their reality. A violent tornado touched down here around 11 40 p. M. Last night. Police say many calls were received for people who were trapped in their homes and 20 people are transferred to local hospitals. Rescue crews are going doortodoor climbing over debris to get to people and say theyll continue to go doortodoor throughout the day today and use force to enter homes and businesses to make sure everyone is okay. A lot of big problems for a lot of people. As long as not too many people got hurt probably a good thing. Jefferson city police say this area is fortunate that the death toll is not catastrophic. Someone like this will go through his jihadist buddies be able to access some other kind of phone or access to the internet and reengage his ability to spread radical ideology.
