All eyes are on what is on that mexico, texas border. They had a mob reaction of crashing through the gate, rushing that bridge. Its a 500 plus Mexican Police officers. The officials here are paying very close attention. Now, when secretary of state mike pompeo was talking about the tactics being used. Women and children as shields, its because they are worried about that coming to this border here in mcallen, texas, the heaviest as you mentioned trafficked area and the reason why that caravan and others are charging our borders are because of what they perceive as loopholes in the laws here. Their ultimate destination is right where im standing. Yesterday we spoke with a deputy chief here in this sector raul ortiz. And he talked about the number of family units they are seeing and overall problem. We are definitely seeing a lot of family units. We have seen that increase over the last three or four months. Certainly this month is the highest numbers of family units that we have experienced in a while. On average about 373 family units every day. And then we see about 75 unaccompanied children every day and so we have seen on average 641 individuals in south texas cross every single day. You look at yesterday. We had a tremendous traumatic morning, talking to you, ed. That was only the area i was in was only five of the 316 miles of the Rio Grande Valley sector. Thats just a tiny snapshot of the nearly 3,000 miles of u. S. Mexico border from california to where im standing here in south texas. And so when you look at that problem, 4 or 5,000 migrants charging that bridge down in the mexico, guatemala border and think about what it would bring to the already overwhelming problem here where there 300 percent in just family units alone since this time last year, you are talking about an issue that has to be addressed and addressed quickly. Noble is watching the situation down in the mexico, guatemala border more closely than the officials here because they are going to have to have a plan when it comes. I would add that in talking to officials off camera, they said, you know, listen, were going to be very cautiously optimistic, but encouraged by the fact that the mexican federals are getting engages trying to head it off at the pass. Their border is more porous than ours is they have less experience cracking down than the way we do here. Their borders are looser than ours. They are finally starting to address it they are encouraged by that but whether or not they at ultimately successful, thats another question. One thing is for sure, ed, what you saw down there yesterday will continue to see down there today. Its headed definitely for where im standing right now. Whats not being covered on this network is the fact that there is diplomacy issues happening. Conversations and negotiation with the Mexican Government. There is a cartel chokehold on these migrants. The humanity aspect of an unsecured border which sheriffs and representatives down on that southern border keep talking about. But the left and unfortunately the left wing media isnt covering that part of the conversation. Pete absolutely right. Because they are not covering, our president is. Donald trump was in mesa, arizona last night, another border state, talking about the caravan. Heres what he had to say. Right now, as you know, mexico is on their southern border. Their southern border. They are fighting. And they are fighting some bad people in this group. You see the people come up and you listen to the fake news back there and you think they are all. [crowd boos. You think they are all wonderful people. Serious. You think they are all wonderful people. You got some bad people in those groupings. You got some tough people in those groups. And i will tell you what. This country doesnt want them. Pete until you have a wall and definitive policies, you are going to have this confusion. Thats what it is confusion. How do you handle it and laws that are ambiguous. So this back and forth continues. Ed emily made a good point a moment ago about the diplomacy that is going on. If these migrants hadnt made it across the mexico southern border and then had made it to the u. S. Border and we started processing them. What we understand from diplomats i can negotiations you mentioned, there is a new administration coming into mexico. They basically have agreed with the Trump Administration that if they turned out to not really be refugees and folks up to no good. And wants to be illegal in this country and are not here as refugees. That they would be sent back to mexico and mexico would accept them. That is new policy. That is different from before. Its because of pressure from President Trump. And so you see him making the caravan and illegal immigration front and center in the midterms. He is also talking about the economy and some of the violence we have seen on the left. Watch. The choice for every american could not be more clear than it is right now. Democrats produce mobs. Republicans produce jobs. This november, when you are voting, vote for the jobs, not for the mob. Democrats wants to throw your borders wide open to deadly drugs and ruthless gangs. We dont want them. Democrats have become the party of crime. It will be the election of kavanaugh, the caravan, law and order. Tax cuts. Pete jobs not mobs. Emily what struck me about that actually when i heard it i thought he said they reduced jobs and republicans thats true, too. Because of the regulation, right . Really what struck me about that is the fact that the g. O. P. Really is on message. Absolutely on message here. From what we are seeing the democrats on the left are scattered and they are simply attacking what the g. O. P. Is Standing Firm on. And, ed, it caught our eye. There is a new ad out from the Republican National committee talking about well, frankly its turned into violence against republicans. Watch this ad. We are past the days of the 70s and 80s where we are relying on one network to tell us whats happening. We have other options. We have fox news. We have the internet. We have our own neighborhoods.
