Lets run them down. Dr. Gruber says in order to pay for obamacare, you have to impose a new tax on americans. He also says the Obama Administration did not want to admit additional taxation was necessary, so it hid that part of the equation. The doctor opines little transparency in the run up to the vote obamacare and then the mit professor really lit the fuse saying that americans are generally too stupid to figure out what the obamacare situation really is. Jupv so i will let you decide on the credibility of the last statement. Gruber for telling the truth but i also believe he was an active participant in a big con. So, on the one hand he is truthful. Other hand he is deceptive. Dr. Gruber appeared on the factor last year. He was honest. There is no doubt there is contribution of this law, bill, you can like it or not. And thats a debate for another day. Well, there was also a large distribution of taxpayer money to dr. Gruber. About 6 million bucks. In consulting fees. Doctor to keep quiet when he heard this. No matter how we reform healthcare i intend to keep this promise. If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor. If you like your healthcare plan, you will be able to keep your healthcare plan. Coupled with comprehensive reform this could result in our Nation Saving over 2 trillion over the next 10 years and that could save families 2,500 in the coming years. 2,500 per family. What the president did there are with the 2,500 stat was compare the average cost of Health Insurance now today to what it might have been years from now with no obamacare. What it might have been. Thats called comparing the cold5qy4s truth is most working americans are paying more for Health Insurance under obamacare while millions of other americans are getting free Health Insurance. Thats then quasisocialistic programs work. There is no questions this whole gruber deal has been a major embarrassment for president obama and the folks are backing away from the federal healthcare law. According to a recent gallup poll only 37 currently like it. If the republicans imagine to elect a president in 2016, obamacare likely to be repealed. Even before that, talking points believes the Supreme Court will strike down major parts of the law. And part of the reason i believe that is because dr. But he has already admitted on camera with respect to that specific case that the situation is as those who are challenging the law claim it is. Thats a case of the government is really in danger on. The law is really in danger on. Typical with gruber in more candid moments behind the scenes. He admits that the argument being made by the challengers to the law is the right argument. That they are correct in what they are asserting. And then, of course, once the legal challenge got brought he said all that stuff i said, forget about that. Its not that way at all. So i can understand it and you know how dense i can be. What is the primary argument in the Supreme Court . The argument is that obamacare was set up such that you could only get a subsidy to help you with your premium. By the state. If you signed up through your state. Right. And yet all these states said. We dont want it. We dont wan they contradicted their own law. Now those people are not supposed to be allowed to have subsidies. They did that intentionally because they wanted to guilt people. Threaten them. Scare them into signing up under their state exchanges and scare the states into setting it up. And the state said we are not scared. We are north doing it. Do you mean to sit there and tell me you dont believe the Supreme Court justices, the nine intelligent people. I dont think they watch cable news and thats the only place you would know about it. I know i am. You think . I know. I have run into them. A number of them. I sat next to Justice Scalia at the correspondents dinner. He knows because. I ran into justice. Authorization to about 800,000 young immigrants who are right here, chirm known as the dreamers, there is 800,000. He did that in june of 2012. They cant get a pell grant to go to college. They cannot. Obviously we are raisingqz oury to help them, but from private sick sector. There wont be any government benefits. Even the background check they have to pay. The documentation, in order to get that work permit probably be around 500. There cannot be a cent of tax dollar money used even in granting them the Work Authorization. They must pay for it out of their pocket. There is two things in play here. Number one, you know as well as anybody once this gets out a flood of people coming in here. Try to get in here. So i dont know if the federal government is prepared for that flood, but thats coming. Number two, number two, i mean, two big things, some people arent going to sign up. They are not going to pay the 500 bucks. What happens to them . Okay. Let me tell you very rigid process. You must document and there are going to be certain documents authorized by the federal government. You note over have to thats why the president is going to go back five years. Prove you were here in 20, 2013, 2012. If you dont signif up, if you dont send the print. You stay here and work illegally, what happens to you . No. Listen. You stay in the same condition you were.
