What makes this facility significant is that its one of two facilities that have shifted into producing millions of n95 masks for emergency and Health Workers on the front lines. It was further expanding its production of the respirator mask its at the time President Trump remarked that they were fulfilling their patriotic duty. Trump will be joined by a few honeywell executives as they do the mask Production Assembly line. The president will join a roundtable discussion around support for native americans from the coronavirus crisis. More georgia businesses reopen including some large malls, atlanta is criticizing people who ignore social distancing guidelines. This shows the disagreement between the governor of georgia and some of the mayors of some of the larger cities in the state who say that we should be playing things a little more cautious because of the current infection rates. Neil where they concerned of the pace of some of the states the way they are opening up, or are they assessing stepping back nationally . Yeah, its a combination of the tube. The governors obviously concerned about the Small Business people particularly people running tattoo parlors, people cutting hair who have no way of getting income while they are closed. The mayors of these large cities are seeing high infection rates. There reacting from a Public Health standpoint. Public health weighing with the economy is an ongoing debate. Already the airlines are preparing for less traffic and fewer people in seats. What about that infamous middle seat . A lot of people dont like to sit in it because obviously they are in the middle. What if you could pay to make sure no one does sit in that seat . Frontier airlines has a plan for you. In a new push toward social distancing, offering the middle seat to stay empty if you pay a 39 fee. Interesting concept and creating an enormous buzz on the intern internet. I would ask you if you were sitting in the window if i could put my bag there and if not, i would put it in the overhead bin. I assume that when we get to traveling we could probably share the center tray table and ill put my drink on one side and you on the other may be. I think passenger civility neil i might say yeah, if you give me 20 bucks, i might consider it. I being funny, but to get a sense, are you ready for this . You said at the outset, youre looking at fewer people sitting those seats. Max, this is an incentive when people hear your fairs or whatever youre charging, the fares are very, very low. What response have had to them . We are offering fares as low as 11 and that includes all taxes and fees. Best to help america get going. We want you to get out and get american moving and get the economy going. We want to do it safely. Everybody wear facial covering. If you had 39 on top of that, for 50 bucks you could have the more room option with our really low fares. You dont need that option to be safe. You can be safe for as little as 11. Neil this is a dumb question, but what if i had a carryon bag i might get charged for. I could pay that seat fair, plopped my carryon and that seat, couldnt i . I might still come out ahead. [laughs] i guess thats possible. The one thing to keep in mind is bookings are starting to come back. And plenty of carriers have given plenty of social distancing options. As the loads get more full, there are people they want that guaranteed option. This just gives them a little bit more peace of mind. Its belt and suspenders. Neil the government isnt being very clear of what is expected of you when everyone goes back. Maybe its more of a federal issue than a state issue. Is it understood that plans are going to be at half capacity . Is that going to be the understood rule . I dont think thats true. Yesterday and the day before, we were at 50 . This coming weekend it looks like we will be over 60 load factor. Airplanes are starting to fill back up again. Thats why its going to become more important if people do want their seat next to them to still be open, we are going to guarantee it for them. It wasnt so much that he didnt like the airline is much as he said theres going to be i dont want to put words in his mouth, the long curve to get back to where you were. Do you worry about that yourself that business will come back, planes will fill as they did after 9 11 but they could take a while. Are you worried about that . I think he will be an uneven recovery when passengers come back. We are seeing passengers come back now but its more of the visiting friends and relatives in some leisure. There is very little Business Travel. A lot of the big airlines depend on Business Travel and thats going to be one of the last segments to come back. As the states start to scale back and open up their communities, but these studies and models are showing us is that there is an increase in mobility. People are out and about but theres also a decrease in the amount of physical and social distancing.
