Denver Police Spent Hours at the scene collecting evidence after just clearing it about an hour ago. We know that they were firs bit before 10 00 last night. They spent a will have time in the a lot of time in the area closing off part of the intersection. One side is an apartment complex and the other side a business development. We do know one person died. Its unclear what led up to that shooting and who all may trying figure that out. It was a large crime scene as they were working to get more details on this shooting. New this morning, doctors are treating two Police Officers for a shooting in east boston. It happened as they checked out reports of a person with a gun. Doctors say both officers have critical injuries. We just learned they are out of surgery. One officer is a veteran and the other a 12year veteran of that department. Police killed the shooter who wore body armor and had an assault rifle. The fbi is now handling the investigation into an apparent bomb left in front of the nederland Police Department. Our jamie leary live from the fbi office in stapleton this morning with the very latest. First of all, any arrests . What about that . Reporter so far no arrests. But this was a really close call. Believe it or not, a Police Backpack thinking it was lost property. The device inside was active. Fortunately it didnt detonate. This is according to the fbi. The agency assumed control of this investigation just yesterday. A robot searched the backpack, removed several pieces, which so far have been sent to the forensics lab. No results yet. More than a dozen agencies responded around 1 30 we neutralizeed the device. Had it gone off, it could have impacted more than just the police.
