An accident on northbound 99 at 6 00 this morning. A patrol car with two officers sped to the scene. According to a Highway Patrol captain the accident was actually in the southbound lanes. The same lanes the officer were responding in with lights and siren. It is possible the officers were trying to avoid the accident and one of the drivers who was out of the car and walking on the highway.
