Nearly 70,000 fans were at the first 49ers game at their new home in santa clara, but it wasnt all smooth sailing for the team and the fans. I feel i was siting on the surface of the sun. The lopsided loss by the 49ers didnt help much either. By the time the game finally ended, it didnt take long for fans to clear out. It happened near 24th and mission streets in San Francisco. Witnesses say the man roone into the street after the cab, but it didnt stop. An on coming car honked, but the man didnt get out of the way. The driver of the car was detained for questioning, but not arrested. Moraga firefighters are recovering the body of a man who fell off a cliff and died. It happened near the steam train. The victim is in his 50s and no other details have been released. San Francisco Police arrested a woman suspect testified of shooting a tourist in the leg. The victim, a man likely in his 30s was walking through the tenderloin with another person when he heard yelling followed by a gunshot. It was then that he realized he was hit in the leg. His injuries were not lifethreatening. Investigators are still determining exactly what happened. The suspect could face attempted homicide charges.
