Now that official crab season has begun, its on hold until november. The department of fish and wildlife is considering of opening the area near point rays, where the fishermen are already allowed. But then, others want to wait until all california crab are clean of toxins. They sent a letter to the department of fish and wildlife. Concerned that it is risky and will clog the ports. They are concerned that north of point rays tested dirty, only 12 miles away from where they want us to open. So the buyers are concerned about these crabs. This one had been carjacked. That led them to a house in richmond. The father of one of the victims reacted to the news of contreras capture. Maybe closure, a little consolation. So total rainfall with this storm system as it moves through, were thinking about a quarter to three quarters of an inch of rain across the region. But it also comes with very breezy conditions. Future tracker wind gusts show tomorrow the winds will gust between 30 and 35 Miles Per Hour out of the south. So we have a wind advisory out of the south.
