This oakland resident tell me these side shows happen here much too often. Its frustrating its scary, and unfortunately its part of our life now so we are used to it. Residents and Business Owners say that is car spinouts like this happen at least twice a month. Heres last november at the exact same spot. Oakland police and the Highway Patrol have tried to crack down on these side shows. But one hot rod owner i talked to tells me there still isnt much fear the police are going to break up these events. Do you ever worry the police will show up . Not really.
