Police have arrested luis gonzal gonzalez, alexander, and castro, all three in jail, and charged with homicide tonight. Former livermore golf instructor Andrew Nisbet has been sentenced to 27 years in state prison for child sex abuse. The 32yearold sexually abused three boys he was teaching. And then tried to solicit someone to murder them. Nisbet was arrested last december. In september, he pleaded guilty to seven felony counts in a plea bargain. He taught at the golf course in livermore. Police are investigating after a noose was found hanging from a tree at Berkeley High school. The vice principal said a Security Guard found the noose and took it down on october 1st. Its a symbol of africanamerican lynchings prior to the civil rights movement. In an earthquake, disaster situation, there are some really unscrupulous unlicensed guys who will come here, you write a check, and theres no guarantees theyre coming back. Reporter jeff miller is one of the agents working on this undercover sting operation. He said within hours of the south napa quake, they started warning unlicensed contractors they could face felony charges if they illegally tried to take advantage of earthquake victims. But that didnt stop these predators. One after the other, unlicensed contractors came looking for prey. Everybody we called, we called from an illegal advertisement. But its really a huge honor for San Francisco to have a ship commissioned here. And its rare that it happens during fleet week. The flight deck of the uss america was buzzing with military personnel and civilians who came to see the uss america, the first ship of its class. The new ship is designed to maximize the navys capability to fly just about anywhere. It will hold more than 30 aircraft, including the mv22 osprey helicopter, and the f35 b fighter. Both capable of vertical lift and landings. Its a lot of fun. Its really fast. Youre pulling a lot of gs. Its a pretty wild ride. Reporter its also big enough to store equipment and transportable vehicles. Unlike other wasp class Amphibious Assault ships, it doesnt have a well deck used to transport equipment and marines from ship to shore. The america will rely on its planes and helicopters to do that. This gives it more room to house the aircraft and to store twice as much jet fuel. We carry about 1. 3 million gallons of jet fuel. Which is significant if you look to stay on station and conduct a number of operations for a period of time. Reporter the navy and marine corps will Work Together on the ship. And theres some man there that starts to assault them. Whether that is physically, sexually, verbally. They start to assault a woman that you love. Now, think how that makes you feel. Think about your feelings toward that perpetrator of that violence. Then i would ask you, if you think about that, think about the role that you have to raise up a generation of men that are going to have the clarity, or have the moral courage to call out other men. Powerful stuff. The antiviolence education sessions will be presented to all 32 nfl teams, as well as owners, coaches and league employees by the end of this season. Consumer reports tested 26 portable air cleaners to see how well they worked. Testers pumped contaminants into the controlled chambers of dust and cigarette smoke.
