Police say a man was found stabbed in the neck in front of the mayor idea hotel after 3 00 a. M. He may have been stabbed in a parking garage a block away and walked or was taken to the Marriott Hotel where he was taken to the hospital with no word on his condition. Yesterday morning, a man was fatally stabbed in the same area not too far away with Police Investigating whether the two are connected. Police have identified a 62yearold woman shot and killed by Hayward Police this week. Authorities say the officers conducted a welfare check on the woman when slow pulled a handgun on them. An officer opened fire hitting her. Show died at the hospital. The handgun she pulled was a copy. She called 911 several times that evening. Police say a handwritten note indicated she wanted to end her life because of family troubles.
