Friends and family of the first three victims are mourning the loss of loved ones today. Not long ago they were attending bay area high schools including this high school in san jose. Rodger accused hong of stealing candles and honk pleaded guilty for petty theft. Hong knew everyone and will be deeply missed. George chen did not live in the apartment but was to visit hong and wang and graduated two years ago. He was kind and would always lend a helping hand. All three were part of the college of engineering at Uc Santa Barbara. Another bay area victim caught in the rampage continues to recover at a Santa Barbara hospital.
