Well, tomorrow will probably be the hottest day of the week, were going to see temperatures for most of the valleys in the 90s and hottest places getting close to 100 degrees. And right after a warm day, 68 degrees in san jose. Right now, cooler, closer to oakland where its 61. But out toward the trivalley livermore, still 76 degrees here after 11 00, some places in the t t trivalley tonight may drop down to 70. 65 in santa rosa as were seeing the winds slightly onshore. But, again, without the low clouds or the cooling and the thick marine layer, were seeing a weak late day sea breeze kick in and not going to have much of an impact on tomorrows temperatures. In fact, even around San Francisco tomorrow, youll notice the highs getting close to 80 degrees. Air quality tomorrow in the moderate range throughout the bay area. Therell be enough of a breeze out there to keep the air stirred up enough to prevent us from having major air quality issues. But youll notice here, our temperatures really vaulting quickly through the morning. Now, right now, we dont have much in the way of low clouds, patchy low clouds possible, tomorrow morning, and then as we head through the afternoon, winds still primarily higher up in the atmosphere out of the north. And that should keep the coast clear and set the stage for a hot day inland tomorrow. In fact, well show you hourbyhour look of projection for temperatures in the morning. 60s and 70s around the hill tops in the north bay and east bay. And as early as lunchtime, we should see temperatures in the mid90s inland and out near the trivalley. Mid to upper 70s around San Francisco. And by 4 00, you can see the widespread 90s around the silicon valley, south bay down into san jose and 90s to 100degree temperatures around fairfield over twaroward liverm. I want to compare the same time tuesday, not quite as hot. Still 80s and 90s inland, but this is the first sign of the sea breeze starting to come back. Were going to see it for the coast and around the inner bay late on tuesday. And then on wednesday, everybody should begin to cool down. This will be as High Pressure will finally loosen its grip around the bay area. But in the meantime tomorrow, the hottest day of the week, temperatures 90s to just above 100 degrees for places like livermore and san jose around saratoga. Then this high is going to give some ground. Allow the second half of the week to cool down as the area of low pressure moves in toward the Pacific Northwest that will increase the onshore breeze, deepen the marine layer which is 700 feet, should move up closer to 2,000 feet by the middle of the week. Tomorrow, no cooling for san jose. 92 degrees tomorrow, San Francisco, close to 80. So well see this 5day forecast. Peak intensity, the heat for San Francisco tomorrow, cooler toward the middle part of the week. And about the same range for the north bay and the trivalley. Temperatures in the mid90s around santa rosa. Livermore there, 102 degrees. This will be my pick for probably the warmest spot tomorrow. 102 degrees in livermore. Temperatures beginning to cool down. Second half of the week, well begin to see the cooling for places like livermore approaching wednesday, back in the 80s. Fourth of july, friday one of the cooler days well see in the week ahead. But at what cost to the amazon workers behind the scenes . Cnbc started airing an hour long documentary on working conditions at warehouses. David faber spoke with some former employees about what it was like getting all the orders out so fast. Across the space as vast as 20 football fields, workers manage the widest variety of inventory on the planet and move tens of millions of products sat lightning speed. When i first started working at amazon, i had a 6monthold. Gave me insurance for him, food on the table for him. Amazon is a good job. But other former employees describe a Corporate Task master that demanded workers meet strict productivity goals no matter what. I quit buying from amazon and to this day i have yet to buy anything. Because i know how hard and strenuous it is on your body to actually be able to get a package to you. We asked amazon about conditions in the Fulfillment Centers. Company officials wouldnt speak to us on camera, but in a statement pointed to amazons strong safety record. They did not address claims of unrealistic performance demands. Theyre doing work that robots cant do.
