He had far greater intentions to do harm. And because of the actions of everybody involved yesterday that did not occur. Reporter the sheriff added it appeared mohammad wanted to get a Law Enforcement officers gun. That did not happen. All four of the stabbing victims are expected to recover. That restaurant that prompted the recent shigella to close. Health inspectors have revisited the restaurant and determined that theres no risk to the publics health. Nearly 200 diners from six local counties were sickened and Health Experts say they never did pin down the precise source of the outbreak. That has prompted at least three lawsuits. Once again the restaurant in san jose has reopened this evening. They walked out of their high school and marched to ucberkeley, hundreds of students voicing their concern and tonight some answers. Our nbc chopper overhead. This morning students from Berkeley High walked out after a message threatening black students was found on a Library Computer right there at the high school. Just about an hour ago we learned the school tracked down the person who wrote that message. Nbc bay areas Jodi Hernandez joins us from berkeley with some answers. Jodi . Reporter raj, district Officials Say a careful forensic analysis of that computer used to post that hateful message led them to a Berkeley High school students, and they say late today that student tearfully admitted hes responsible. Identified the student responsible Reporter SchoolOfficials Say theyve ooirded the person responsible for a racist and threatening message left on a Library Computer. A student they say has admitted he posted it. It appears the student felt some relief after admitting this. I think the student is pretty concerned about the consequences that are going to come. Reporter the message caused an outrage on campus this morning. Hundreds of students walked out of class and marched through the streets of berkeley all the way to the cal campus to express their concern. The message promised a public lynching leaving many terrified. As a black woman, they said a public lynching december 9. I wont be around because of the fact that im liable to get lynched because im black. This is a crime and this is an act of terrorism. And the police should be involved. There should be fbi s. W. A. T. , everything surrounding our school. Reporter the principal says he does not believe the student intended to carry out the threat, but the district is committed to doing all it can to make students feel safe and respected. We will not tolerate in berkeley. We will not tolerate any type of racism, any type of sexual harassment, any type of bullying. This is important to us. Well, a 2yearold boy is dead after being thrown from a car after a car crash in pittsburg. Police say it was his mother at the wheel. Elyce kirchner, witnesses are telling you the driver, the mom, was trying to flee another car crash when she lost control of her car . Reporter thats right, jessica. This accident happened right in the middle of the street here behind me. A lot of people saw it. Its also where this little boy died, his mother was behind the wheel, and Authorities Say she did not have a valid drivers license. It was a hard sight to see. Thats when you saw the baby shoot out of the car and then after the baby shot out of the car, the car continued to crash and the woman started screaming. Reporter antoine et saw the 2yearold boy be ejected from this car in pittsburg. The toddlers mother was behind the wheel. So the saturn came down flying first. When it came down it seemed like in this area it kind of lost control. And when the car lost control, it actually flipped over. Reporter Authorities Say the mother was first involved in a minor collision minutes earlier. She allegedly hit this white fourrunner and fled from that scene. The 30yearold lost control of the vehicle and crashed no a light pole. Shortly after, the little boy died on scene. As you were watching that, what was going through your head . Where is my baby . Where is my son. Once i realized my son was upstairs in the house, i was feeling a little better but at the same time its still we lost a baby. I think they said the baby was only 2. Reporter thats right. The baby was only 2 years old. And when authorities arrived here on scene, they saw his mother conscious. Changes to a busy San Francisco intersection after a driver hit two boys in a crosswalk. A stop sign will be among the safety improvements added to the intersection of buchanan and bay in the marina district. You may remember we told you a driver ran into two 12yearold boys yesterday. Those boys suffered life threatening injuries but are expected to survive. Officials are working on ways to make that area that is very busy in the morning safer for kids. In addition to the bay Street Project to reduce traffic and add a back lane and a speed hump we will add a stop sign to the location as well. So thats something that has just come to fruition over the last couple of days. Now a 30yearold woman was arrested on suspicion of dui. A mother was shot in front of her young son. Its a crime in oakland thats still unsolved more than two years after the shooting. Police put out a new call for information today hoping that someone can help find the person who killed this woman, donetra henderson. She was visiting in april of 2013. Police say she had just parked her car when someone killed her. Hendersons 4yearold son was sitting in the back seat when the shots were fired. She wasnt in any trouble or hanging out or anything like that. Thats what makes it all the more sad and tragic because she was a good girl. She didnt deserve to die like that. They are putting up to20,00 for any information leading to an arrest. A lot of street closures and detours in San Francisco that will last more than a week.
