Further inland spots will enjoy a little bit more sunshine. I think today the biggest difference from yesterday will be that the winds will pick up along the coast and even in some inland spots. If you notice, we are expecting to see a nice little temperature trend, trending upward. 62 in san jose. But by 1 00 we should top out nicely into the upper 70s in most spots. 80s in inland spots. San francisco also expected to climb into the 60s. But it will be picking up in terms of the winds. So i dont think today is going to be a very good beach day. I, of course, have a look at your temperature trend if you do plan to head to the beach. And a lot of events going around the area. Thats exactly what we are seeing this morning, especially for San Francisco<\/a>. 55 degrees. We could catch some coastal drizzle within the next few hours. We have also got a system sitting to the north that could bring showers in farther north areas. We can actually see the marine layer hugging the coast, nice and tight. We have a bit of a cooling trend on the way. Lets talk about what to expect for the next few hours. By 12 00, looking ahead, we start seeing some of the marine layer starting to burn off. Unfortunately, though, if you planned to head out to areas like Half Moon Bay<\/a>, it looks like its expected to stay fairly cloudy all day long and even breezy in spots. As we move forward until about maybe the 7 00 hour, we start to clear out by about 2 00 in most inland spots and catch a bit of sunshine. The valleys will be mostly in the 80s. By 7 00 we see the return of this nice marine layer. And thats whats going to bring us earlymorning fog tonight and also into tomorrow. Lets talk about the Half Moon Bay<\/a> forecast. I wanted to pop it up because it wont be a good beach day but at about 11 00 a. M. We can expect windy conditions out there. Definitely keep that in mind if youre heading out there. Bring a jacket. No one will get into the water, but you would be surprised. Look out for beach hazards near the coastline. Todays forecast will be in the 60s along the coast, 67 for San Francisco<\/a>. 64 in Half Moon Bay<\/a>. Livemore, 84. Antioch, 86. South bay and areas like san jose topping out in the upper 70s at about 79 degrees. Tomorrow we are expected slightly cooler than today. My husband, mike miller, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, fourth stage, back in 2003. Reporter while erin millers husband mike began chemotherapy her sister dana began her own search for help. She combed through all the Clinical Trials<\/a> in the United States<\/a> looking for something. Reporter the family fund mi found mike a Clinical Trial<\/a> that was in the philippines. The family helped the millers pay the mountain of travel expenses. He lived for 19 months and he was able to coach my daughters tee ball team. He got to do scouts with the boys and had time to create some great memories before finally passing away. Reporter inspired by the experience. Dana founded the danville based nonprofit Cancer Foundation<\/a> to connect other Cancer Patients<\/a> with specialized Clinical Trials<\/a>. Clinical trials give patients an opportunity to take advantage of the latest and greatest developmen developments. Reporter the sister run Company Helps<\/a> to pay travel costs that kept many from pursuing the treatments. 50 or more of Clinical Trials<\/a> fail not because the drugs dont work or the treatments dont work but because they never enroll enough patients. It was sad. Reporter the company paid for this palo alto teenager and her family to travel to philadelphia for a fourmonth Clinical Trial<\/a> after chemotherapy failed to help her leukemia. I was like, oh my god, philadelphia. They helped us with the flights, getting to and from philly. Otherwise i wouldnt have been able to go at all. So i went to prom night. I am a little over one year in remission. Reporter now cancer free, she is in college and learning to live again. Its the adjustment, because my life for four years has been cancer.
