Police get suspicious and that led to a pursuit, after which two people bailed out and ran into a buddys home near broadway. Police tried to pull the driver over, driving around with the brights on. He decided to take off and officers backed off because h high speed. A helicopter followed him, led officers right to him. One of them needed medical attention. We dont know why. Meanwhile, a bad crash in phoenix. A driver slammed headon into a palm tree at 40th street and mcdowell. No word on the drivers condition. 40th street has since reopened. This morning we are waiting to learn the name of a man shot ran over a dps trooper. We are told troopers shot and killed him because he was a clear threat. A memorial is growing this morning for three young men killed in a street racing crash. This morning the victims family is sharing a warning for every parent in the valley. Police they say he admitted to the burglary there, as well as using a stolen credit card. But he claims his friend bobby was with him, and that bobby is the one who shot the dog. He also claims bobbys sister lives in the home they burglarized.
