And then lets take look at the san mateo bridge 880 the 101 westbound will take you about is a minutes looking good on there 15 minutes looking good on there. And then the nimitz freeway 238 to the 80 northbound will take you about 15 to 20. Ro hows it looking out there . Good morning everybody. Hows it looking out there . Thats a really interesting question roqui because weve had some subtle changes. Unless youre really tracking it you will barely notice a difference but heres the deal. We have an increasing marine layer out there. Its deepening and at at this point as you take a look at sfo, ive been watching some of the planes on the approach but i do guarantee there will be some delays on departures and on arrivals on some flights after 6 00 a. M. Because that marine layer continues to deepen every 15, 30 minutes and even every hour, we have noticed this marine layer now extending and expanding into our inland areas as well. Its because an upper level trough is breezing through the area and temperaturewise into the bay area and temperature wise into the 50s and low 60s. The winds have been fluctuating around. At this particular time the marine layer has filled in along the coast. And it is marched inland locally a good 50 miles. And even george, well hes at the beaches right now in San Francisco. Hes reporting 54 degrees and we have some areas of drizzle as well. George is up early this morning getting ready to supply his services to the clayton fire and we thank you sir for your services. So heres the update on the other fire. It continues to burn out of control also and thats the Monterey County area. The wind flow suggests that we have more of a southerly flow. Lifting up in a northerly direction, thats why its clipping the Santa Clara Valley and also the eastern portion of our bay area. With this trough, the air quality did improve ever so gently yesterday. Today good air quality along the compost and the bay. Thats because coast and the bay. Thats because of a more westerly flow there. But in the inland areas still a moderate haze to the atmosphere. The low clouds barely at the beaches today and bay side sunny and seasonal and pretty seasonal in the inland areas, temperatures coming out of the triple digits. Futurecast indicates we have the clouds lined up ad the beaches all the way through. Your early afternoon hours some clearing around santa cruz and otherwise the overnight hours we see the clouds fill back into the inland areas. Producing some low clouds and fog and even only localized drizzle. We have this area of low pressure. Another trough is lined up its ready to breeze through the bay area for your tuesday. So again, we will have the clouds along the coast but we will have the sunshine and seasonal temperatures in our inland areas. 97 degrees state capital today. Nearly 100 degrees in yucaipa. 80 in the greater lake tahoe area. Smoke and haze still in monterey bay back in through pebble beach into carmel. Number wise typically we should be 67 degrees in San Francisco but with the deepening marine layer 63degrees there. Spoton in concord clayton and walnut creek. San jose pretty much where it should be for this time of the year and same in oakland through alameda into emeryville. 6 60s at the beaches today and youll notice the refleshing low 80s around the peninsula. 8 of degrees in morgan hill and topped off by 90s to the east of the bay area. About 94 degrees outside number there. 60s, 70s and 80s north of the Golden Gate Bridge there and again, 98 to 100 around the yucaipa area. Temperatures into the mid 90s, but generally around the immediate bay area, 58 to 93 degrees. Same on tuesday as that upper level trough passes through. Then High Pressure flexes its muscles on wednesday and we go up to 96 degrees again. Then hold on to that weather pattern for at least a couple of days before we begin to cool again to seasonal readings on friday and saturday. But where we had the clayton fire to the north, temperatures soaring into the high 90s and bad air quality way to the north as well. And to the south, tomorrow we have the Monterey County fire. So you have to watch the air quality report each and every day. Thats true we need Mother Nature to kick in and help us out a bit right . Yeah, the drizzle this morning helps from the deepening marine layer but sure be nice to get some rain in there. But i dont see any in at least the next ten day forecast. An officer in ohio is getting attention for going above the call of duty. Steve dunham got a call about a little boy wandering around town alone. He found the 7yearold outside of a store standing with a teddy bear. When the officer asked him what he was doing the boy said he was trying to sell his bear. He told me that he was trying to sell his stuffed animal to get money for food because he hadnt eaten in several days. The office took him to subway and officer took him to subway and brought him back to the police station, when dunham went to take the boy home he realized the parents had him and his brothers living in horrible conditions.
