Reporter this man said of the three men two fired the fatal shots at two different men. Someone fired and the other person i was told after the person fired and killed the one guys friend, my friend was killed. Reporter within hours police had 28yearold james ware in custody. The police dog bit him as he was trying to get away from the cops during a traffic stop. Throughout the day well wishers left candles and flowers at the crime scene but a neighbor kept putting them in the dumpster. He told me hes trying to prevent a memorial to criminals. Throwing stuff away is not going to stop any of us especially with how well known he is and how well liked and loved he is by everybody its not going to be the last thats for sure. Nicole said they were exes but they remained close. Shes talked to brandons mom and theyre working on funeral arrangements. James ware is charged with one count of grand theft and also another weapons charge. New at 5 00, two women are in custody accused of stealing more than two dozen cars in hayward. 33yearold erin ellis and 25yearold Jessica Adkins were arrested last week. Police say adkins was so combative they had to put her in contraints. Police were alerted of the pair of people who noticed suspicious activity on mission boulevard and hayward. Officers traced Car License Plates to a home in hayward where the two women were arrested. Investigators say the two may be connected to 25 stolen vehicles in the bay area. A Good Samaritan rushed to give cpr to a bicyclist hit by a car in San Francisco today. The cyclist collided with this white car at 14th and folsom streets just after 12 30. The front windshield completely cracked. Police tell us when they got on scene, a witness was performing cpr on the man described as 50 to 60 years old. Emergency crews took over and rushed him to the hospital where he just died in the past hour. The driver of the car remained on scene. No arrests have been made. Another bicycle accident in belmont. A man died today after losing control of his bike and crashing. It happened just after noon on ralston avenue. Police say no cars were around at the time of the crash. The victim was wearing a helmet. San mateo county coroner has not yet released his identity. Oakland teens are wearing blue to school today in solidarity for a classmate who was shot and killed over the weekend. Students at Oakland Technical High School say theyre mourning the death of devon ellis the 14yearold boy was shot to death while walking with friends on saturday night. Neighbors say they heard gunshots and a car speeding off. Signs for ellis were posted near the crime scene on brookdale avenue. Students told us theyre shocked. Oakland police are offering a 20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Two men are under arrest in the murder of an 84yearold pen grove woman. One of the men victor silva was arrested saturday in arizona after a 100mile chase that started in Southern California. He and another suspect were in this black suv that crashed during the chase. The other suspect a woman, confronted sheriffs deputies. She was shot and killed. A third suspect arrested in richmond over the weekend, theyre all accused in the death of olga danelli. Police will not say how she was killed. Theres a growing problem at San Jose State University you might not associate with a college campus. Students say its turning in to a hangout for the homeless.
