Elected somebody who is tough, who is smart and who is a fighter and thats donald trump. And i dont think that its a surprise to anybody that he fights fire with fire. Reporter this isnt the first time that President Trump has faced criticism for tweets but you can also argue that those tweets havent gone this far before. But it also bears reminding that his wife First Lady Melania Trump decided an anti Cyber Bullying campaign would be her cause while she was in the white house. And here is what she had to say about that kind of behavior back in november of last year. We have to find a better way to talk to each other, to disagree with each other, to respect each other. Reporter but today was a different tune although she doesnt quite go so far as to say she supports her husband. The first ladys Communications Director told cnn, quote, as the first lady has stated publicly in the past, when her husband gets attacked, he will punch back ten times harder. And since all of this today you might think the president would take a step back from the social media outlet. Not so he has been very active this afternoon, although his content has been more political than personal. Emily turner, kpix 5. Cbs reporter weijia jang is at the white house with details on who and would wont be allowed into the United States temporarily. The Trump Administration calls them terrorprone. Werent involved in 9 11 or any other terrorist attacks. Those countries who were are not on the list. Reporter this man moved to the u. S. From iran six years ago leaving behind loved ones he is now worried about. Their concern is if this is just the beginning of something bigger. You know . Its more like relations being cut off. Reporter attorneys from various groups were standing by at sfos International Arrivals terminal, ready to help travelers who may be confused by the new guidelines. Travelers from the banned countries who already approved visas arent affected and it includes some exceptions for new applicants. People with a close Family Member in the u. S. Such as a parent, spouse, child or sibling will still be allowed to travel to the u. S. But that does not include grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins or other extended family. Journalists, students, employees and lecturers with valid invitations or work contracts will also be have permission. And just a few minutes ago, we learned that hawaii has filed a Court Challenge to the Trump Administrations definition of close Family Members to avoid the ban which is something we heard today a lot of folks saying, a grandparent or fiancee ought to be considered someone close.
