Chp tells us that two teens were riding in a car when another car pulled up to them. Thats the suspect car. Bullets started flying. This all happened in the northbound lanes of 880 just south of highway 92. Chp says the victims car was shot at multiple times but the suspect didnt actually strike anyone in the other car. Although the victims did have minor injuries from broken glass. Chp closed down this stretch of freeway as they collected shell casings. Now the freeway is open and they are still looking for the suspect. No one was taken to the hospital. They provided initial medical assessments and determined it was minor in nature. Reporter early monday morning, there was another freeway shooting. A suspect pulled up to another car near the lewelling exit and shot the driver in the head. At last check the victim is in Critical Condition. Chp is looking for the suspect in that case, as well.
