Police eventually caught up with both suspects but not in the same city. Good afternoon. Kpixs ryan takeo joins us live where Police Caught up with one of the suspects. Reporter one guy jumped out here downtown san leandro. East 14 and parrot is where we are. Even stole a bike around here. But Police Arrested him near this area. Then the driver kept going and ditched the Newspaper Delivery truck, a San Francisco chronicle truck in a quiet culdesac a mile from here. That driver jumped fences and police cornered him in a nearby creek. This started this morning about 8 a. M. When the two suspects stole, allegedly stole the San Francisco chronicle truck in bayview. Then they led chp on a chase over san mateo bridge to san leandro. Police say the driver was all over the place, hitting cars, driving eratically. Even tried to take out a couple of police cruisers. During the swerved he attempted to strike one of our motorcycle officers. He was not injured. Reporter police found that driver in a creek. So they brought an ambulance out to make sure that he was okay. So far they say they are puzzled as to those two people allegedly took that Newspaper Delivery truck as their getaway vehicle. Today 49 players are getting the first taste of life without head coach jim harbaugh who was let go yesterday. Our kiet do caught up with some of the players today as they put the capper on a season to forget. Reporter the 49ers just got out of a team meeting. The general consensus is that with a disappointing season and nothing but nice things to say about jim harbaugh. The 49ers locker room had a subdued, bittersweet feeling of that last day of high school. Flames broke out on the car deck as they slept and there was panic as the fire spread. The ferry was traveling from greece to italy with 414 passengers on board.
