We are following a developing story now in San Francisco. The investigation into a shooting outside a popular clothing store. Kpix 5s anne makovec reports. Reporter harrison street is a busy street. The store was open at the time. The shooter is on the loose and a brazen criminal by all accounts to have done that about 9 15 last night. Two men were arguing inside the store the fight then spilling outside and thats when one of the men pulled a gun and shot the other in the lower torso then ran off. Police say the shooting didnt have anything to do with the actual store. They were not customers just people who walked in offer the street randomly. They had a prior argument. Reporter the man who was shot was taken to the hospital and will survive. That shooter is still on the loose. Frank and michelle . Anne, youre saying that that store is pretty busy . Reporter yeah. It is, in fact i was shopping here yesterday because we were doing a story just a block away. There were a lot of customers inside. It appeared they were using drugs or alcohol. A spokesman for the concert promoters say most of those taken to the hospital were people outside the venue who were too impaired to get inside. Last weekend in las vegas there were 800 people who needed medical treatment at an avici concert. A georgia man is charged with murder for the death of his 22monthold son. The boy died after spending 7 hours in the back of his fathers car while the man was at work. Police arent sure it was an accident. They say Justin Harris returned to his car at lunchtime and put something in it even while the child was in the car. This guy, you know, is entitled to a fair trial. Harris is being held without bail. Faa calling for changes in construction allowed near hundreds of airports across the country. The agency wants to set new limits about how high buildings can be near airports. The issue is whether a fully loaded plane with engine problems could clear structures in its flight path. I mentioned this in the traffic tease. We have a Traffic Alert unfortunately in byron, an overturned big rig knocked down a number of power lines in the area, as well. So the road is completely blocked at byron highway and camino diablo. It sounds like the Traffic Alert would be in effect for a while. In addition to all this, we have some slick roads. And the town of pacifica has a unique camp and you dont have to be an athlete to apply. Its the green room music rock school and its this weeks cool camp. Reporter day 2 of camp but no balls, bats or gloves needed. These campers got their guitars, their drumsticks and horns. Its the Green Room School summer rock camp in pacifica where these tweens and teens are getting schooled on all things rock n roll. [ music ] kids had no outlet. We had all these closet players that are shredders in their rooms. Reporter so drummer Jay Michaelis along with two guitarists opened the green room music school a combined 70 years of making music and now kids are finding their inner hendrix and loving every bit of it. [ music ] really try to get to you learn the material, not just, like, try to to reach you it but they try to get you to know it with a kind of a different thing where you can play piano but you cant really feel piano . Reporter by the end of the camp, each musician will have recorded two to four songs and they get to perform at a recital of sorts. When you tell people youre going to rock camp, what do they say . Theyre like, they tell me to explain it to them. [ laughter ] like i know someone that thought it was, like, rock climbing or mountain climbing stuff. [ laughter ] [ music ] reporter 14yearold geddy francos band reckless and the brave grew out of the green room music and these kids are tight. What i love to do in life. I constantly listen to music and play music. And just playing with my band, its the funnest thing i ever do. Reporter its not all music, either. Along the way, these rockers are learning about working together and building a team. Kind of found a way into a social network here at the room and, uhm, its fun. Reporter they sound good, too. They sound great. Reporter its the green room music rock camp, this weeks cool school that is so cool. I know. I wish it was around when i was a kid. A lot of the kids have a little bit of knowledge before they get to the camp, but you dont have to play to get in. Yeah. Like one of the campers said, you know, its different knowing the notes but actually feeling the music . Thats what the teachers do there. By the way, they just started the first session.
