After 3 00 this morning. So its been out there for a good hour and a half, major injuries involved. And now were hearing they may have to shut down all lanes of traffic. And at one point three lanes were blocked. So obviously big rigs can use westbound 580 as the alternate in the meantime. Right now traffic is already backed up beyond 238. Lets see what else can i tell you . Also some southbound road work in that area but its really northbound thats the problem right now. So 580 is going to be the best bet. Until theyre able to reopen lanes and major injuries ved in this crash, could be a involved in this crash, could be a while. Thank you liz. Well, this is a live look now at baltimore. National guard troops have spanned outfoot fanned out throughout the city and firefighters are putting out fires. This follows riots in several parts of the city after the funeral of a black man who died in police custody. The governor of maryland has declared a state of emergency in baltimore to try and tamp down the violence and also all that looting. Edward lawrence reports on the chaotic scene. Reporter thousands of Armed National guard members have taken position on the ground in baltimore. Where tensions continue to escalate over the death of freddie gray. Hours after the 25yearold was laid to rest monday, this city descended into chaos. Authorities say protesters many of them teenagers pelted officers with objects including rocks and sticks. Police responded with pepper spray. Demonstrators looted stores, damaged cars and set fires. The governor of maryland issued a state of emergency monday night. We have opposite end of the city. A total of 21,000 feet of water could come from three districts on upper sacramento. It would cost about 25 million and customers would pay for that extra supply. I cant believe what i was saying. I was just so belligerent and foolish. Reporter despite her behavior, she says nothing she did justifies what happened next at the santa rita jail. Dont touch me like that. Reporter in his police report, the officer says she quote suddenly turned towards ply and began violently punching with a closed fist at my face. He goes on to protect myself from her attack i used an arm bar takedown and guided her to the ground. But megan and her attorneys say footage from surveillance and Police Body Cameras tells another story. We dont see megan trying to punch the officer several times in the face. We dont see her doing anything that would cause any officer to believe there was an imminent threat that required this kind of force. What we see is without any of this happening, two officers held back megans arms and threw her face first to the ground. I had a gash above my left eye. And i had a few stitches there. I had four broken bones around my orbital socket. Stitches in my lip. And they knocked out a tooth. And chipped another one. Reporter she has filed a federal civil rights lawsuit claiming officers used excessive and unreasonable force. Megan can you hear me . I was already arrested. I was already in custody. And the latest word from chp now is that theyre diverting northbound traffic off the davis vote exit to International Street exit to international boulevard. You can head over to 98 and get back onto the freeway from there. An extra long wait to get to work if youre trying to bet there on time. Probably use 580.
