Times of winners and losers with our financial expert rob black. Hi, rob. Morning, daria. Sounds like a firstly. You have some good news for wall street to look it up. And its looking like 6 to 9 months from now. Inflation will be as big of a problem, which is what wall street wants to see. Last week we saw cpi, Consumer Prices addis inflate. Today were seeing Producer Prices there the and theyre the people who send it off just so their prices are coming down. So this could force the fed to pause. Thats the hope so far. Weve had 2 fed governors say, yeah, we may start to pas but well said fed meeting a couple weeks ago that rain could cause any time soon. So were getting a little mixed messaging, but were moving in the right home depot and walmart both had great quarters consumers alive and well. You might remember the spring walmart and target had the wrong product. They had to slash prices aggressively because they they ordered shipments were delayed just theyre coming in like 2, 3 months. Seasonally i said, what do you mean though, the wrong his alike . They were it took so long they were selling summer stuff in winter or vice versa. Whatever. So i got time table kitchen table. Yeah. That took 13 months for it to time is no longer and it looks kocian looks so thats so you waited so long. Its out of style, ok . We you know, you should be buying that. You need to buy stuff. Thats, you know. Timeless. Thats what i thats what i whats cool is to begin the time was Dolly Partons timeless. Whats up with her . Shes getting 100 Million Dollars from jeff bezos, his courage and civility donations. Hes kind of a. In my opinion. I like billionaires like his exwife, mackenzie who donates money to the girl scouts and she doesnt have a big press release. What about doesnt tell them what they should do is just as go make some young women into the better, stronger people in the in the world. Jeff bezos has a big press conference. Gives money to dolly parton shes getting a good with that. Shes had to do good things, right . She is just weird. You dont like the is celebratory like the look at me. Look what im doing. Its more marketing. Then. I gotcha. Yeah. All right. Lets talk a bit live since the the results are in on elections will almost where things stand politically and the effect on wall street. Wall street loves it. Its called gridlock. So its the democrats. Gop house. Its the democrat president who got through the more inflation, a bill earlier in for years. So theres really no more big packages more spending packages because of the gridlock. Now, as far as the justices, the judges go. A lot of people realize the justices appointed by the Senate Judges are appointed by the senate and they can basically determined labor laws. So what kind of good for that . If youre the common person who wants to be the winner versus the rich who want to keep all their money so its nice to see theres some challenges out of the senate and the house like funding the government and raising the debt ceiling to get some immediate challenges. But listen, the stupid statistic and 10 of the amendment in the senate are named john months. It. This just a weird thing. Theres no district on the Pacific Ocean. Thats republicans. Its all democrat, which is another weird anomaly because washington, you would have thought maybe but. No, okay. Well, if i ever run for anything, im just going to change my name to john. She went in be a democrat of all right. This now im finally getting to the story that really raised my eyebrows because i admit i return a lot of things. Now you must know that i buy i end of spending. I believe more than i returned. So this story youre saying returned free returns
