Being an addict, you cant be an addict and be humble. Reporter six years since drug court again, 200 addicts have participated in the program. We have increased our staffing and you will see additional officers out there just the same as you would in a year. Tomorrow night, if we are heading out to San Francisco<\/a>, what should we do as the people who want to go out and celebrate. The first thing to remind people love is saturday in particular. There is no organized event in years past, there were street closures and street parties. That is not happening this year. That is for saturday. We do encourage people to come out and patronize our businesses in San Francisco<\/a>. We want more people to come out and feel safe. You will see Police Officers<\/a> in and around the castro district. Anywhere there might be an lgbt venue our entertainment area. You will see additional Police Officers<\/a>. We just want people to feel safe and be safe. When it comes to sunday, you will have a whole lot of people out there for the parade on sunday, one of those what are some of the changes we will see . I speak from experience. I have walked in the parade millions of times many times. I encourage you to come out and watch the parade. Hopefully, a large contingent of Police Officers<\/a> walking in the parade and we have visiting officers from sacramento that typically join us and i understand this year, nypd will send a few people to come and walk with us. You have to go through metal detectors at some point work to bring any bags or weapons. Sharp knives. That is for the pride festival that takes place at the plaza. Saturday, from newman and from noon until 6 pm. Following the start of the parade up until about 6 oclock sunday night work this is the first year metal detectors will be used so we encourage people to leave your extra stuff at home and if you dont need to bring it, dont bring it. If you are bringing a bag, 18 x 18 is the largest size bag and you will have to go through either a walkthrough metal detector or be wanded. It is easy to overreact and i think the markets have done that work the british pound lost about 10 of its value. And i think this might be a time to strengthen ties between the United States<\/a> and not just Great Britain<\/a>. We may see great written fracture. Scotland wants to stay in the eu and wells in england dont work so we may see Great Britain<\/a> fracture in england and wales and scotland will all be looking to remain in strong ties with the United States<\/a>. Maybe stronger than they are now so i think this could eventually be a win for britain as a whole and the United States<\/a>, as well. The president is over there urging voters not to leave the eu. He actually brought his trade issue up and said this would put great written at the back of the line those were his comments. Do you think its going to have an impact question back it seems like it has the opposite effect. This is exactly what the vote was about we declared independence from Great Britain<\/a> over 200 years ago. Great britain is trying to declare independence for itself. Right now, the us is the only superpower in the world. To have the president come over, his meddling they have put it over the edge. Again, nothing real changed. Factories are still there. Its psychology that we have to play with. And hopefully, this doesnt cause the world to dip into a recession. This boat came largely a referendum on immigration. Immigration when it comes to us politics, a hot topic. Especially with donald trump. How does this play out for us in the states when it comes to donald trump and Hillary Clintons<\/a> campaign in november . That was unfortunate. I lead an effort on immigration. And i try to remind people, high skilled immigrants are good for the economy. Low skill, as well but theres this constant threat of stealing jobs, free trade is still in jobs. Historically, all those pressures have been there and they had never been true but they do drive a lot of fear. The british people felt like they cannot control their borders. In europe, the pressure of syria and the fear of islamic terrorism is real. And it was certainly a big part of what made people want to declare independence. How do you think the resignation of David Cameron<\/a> is going to affect us and johnson could be the new Prime Minister<\/a>. Most americans know him as the very noticeable london mayor here right . How is that going to change our relationship . I think hairstyles will definitely be changed over the next year. I dont know. I dont know british politics that well. I would remind folks. Im a veteran. We have thousands and thousands of american troops in britain, a longstanding alliance. We have fought world wars together so i think we will maintain a strong relationship no matter. You talk about a split. What about other countries in the eu. Do you see similar referendums coming up in the coming years . I think that is right. This is the first chapter and not the last chapter. And we are talking about 33 3315 to 17yearolds that get on his bus. Is he going to tell us, gosh, i didnt see the cases. Who believes that. He turned his back. I dont know maybe you shouldnt because you have 15 and 17yearolds. He is responsible for them. Certainly, they will be facing a lot of business the teenager but the charter through the weight company. Know its got it going on. Its all about the bus driver taking the fall. He is taking the fall for what he is responsible for but keep in mind, that company is going to have to deal with california licensing. They were probably yank their license or at least restricted so theyre going to get hit with this. What about the parents in the case . How come no one is going after them. I know its the law. Do you think every parent of these kids did not know they were going on this bus . The you know what . They should of known. If they did know, they should of. One girl was cited. She had take id. These kids come from marin county. With that privilege comes responsibility. And that responsibility is taught by the parents. So my first question of the parents is, do you know where your kid was. I know they dont always tell the parents the truth but did they followup . What you mean, a sixhour cruise . And you think theres no booze is apparent . I also talked about this and they said, at least theyre not driving. Those types of parents scare me a little because agreed, at least they are not driving but do we condone them by saying, at least not at least they are not driving. They are 15 to 17yearolds. They make bad decisions. And i get to the driver and i think, methamphetamines on board . Think god somebody called. How many bus accidents do you see . Four years ago, we had the one down on 17 we have the girl fell out the door and the company was convicted because but in this case, it is different here he had the drugs, the open container. He is going to be held responsible. I would imagine the bus company will be held responsible. One of the teenagers at least will be held responsible. Now, what we look to are the parents. What are the parents going to do about it . I know that when i was growing up, i was afraid of my parents. To heck with what the police did to me. I was afraid to go home. At least you are driving.
