The man was driving northbound on 101 between University Avenue and willow road when a piece of debris came hurling through his windshield striking him in the neck. The Highway Patrol says the car slammed into the Center Divide and came to a stop. Investigators say they have determined that that flying object was a large metal nut that came from the opposite lanes of the freeway. There are some passers by that stopped to render aid. The general election polls that we always show are great to show what most voters are thinking but this will be won in 11 states that are swing states because we pretty much know how the blue states and the red states are going to go. And hes spending his money and his time and his advertising budget in those places. He is still perceived in the majority of polls to be the person more capable than Hillary Clinton of dealing with the economy which even though we talk about terrorism, the economy still trumps that issue, forgive that pun, as an issue for most voters. I think the focus on those things is whats keeping him in this race. But if you do the electoral math, Hillary Clinton is already past 270 votes if she gets the blue states shes supposed to get and of those states that are swing states, the ones that are leaning blue right now, she will get there. So he has got to win her leaning blue states, hes got to get in the decided states and win all of his own at the same time to stay in this, and thats a tall order.
