As a whole the wind has died down but there are few isolated areas that are still blowing and we are looking at temperatures warmer in the locations. And we are following developing news for you where at least one person has died in an accident on southbound highway 101. Police say it happened a 3 40. The highway was closed for about two hours and all traffic had to divert onto 280. And we are also following a developing story for you from oakland where police are investigating a triple shooting. It happened early this morning near bart train station. We are live in oakland with the search for the shooter and information about the victims. Reporter the shooting happened near 13th and broadway right in the heart of downtown oakland. Close to the 12th street bart station. There is also a number of bus lines that run during the overnight. You can seat bus stop across the street. Investigators hope there is Surveillance Video from those buss and hopefully witnesses who will come forward and provide them answers about what happened. It was around 1 30 when two officers were sitting in their patrol after, they heard gun fire and went to check it out. They looked up. They saw a crowd, a large group of people start to disperse and start to run around. Officers got out of their vehicle, came to see what was going on. Reporter some of the people in that large group then led the two officers to three gun shot victims, one of the women died, the other two were taken to the local hospital. Police dont know what led to the shooting. They dont have a motive oro a suspect description just yet. Again the lieutenant who was out here this morning said they are hoping they will be able to find more witnesses, they plan to canvas some of the residential areas near broadway and they are going to look at the ac transit bus video because there are bus lines that run during the overnight on broadway. This morning streets have reopened in San Franciscos Mission district after the bomb squad was called to investigate a suspicious package. The intersection of 17th and valencia was shut down. People were asked to shelter in place while the bomb squad responded. The bomb squad eventually determined the panel was not a threat. And the red flag warning expired an hour ago but after a extremely busy day firefighters are still concerned about fire danger. Crews spent the night making sure a one thousand acre grass fire didnt flair up again. It started about highway 12 yesterday afternoon. Firefighters battled dry conditions and winds that gusted 40miles an hour. It started at the front gate. Thats where it started and thats two miles away already. Its gone a lot further than that. Areas were able to keep the flames from spreading to a nearby facility. Two employees said they had trouble breathing because of the smoke but there were no serious injuries. The fire destroyed a hay barn. The wind threw thick plumes of smoke as far down as San Francisco, the Oakland Hills and parts of the peninsula. People were urged to stay inside. A memorial was held yesterday for kevin sand there. Will be a procession and funeral for him later this morning. Itll include members of his rotc group at lincoln high school. I taught him how to play the drum. There were personal feelings. Kevin sand was killed a week ago when his familys van was hit by another vehicle. His mother who was also injured remains in a co a. 58yearold hit them in her mercedes. She was driving 80 miles an hour before the crash. Prosecutors are still investigating the case and havent filed charges. Police in palo alto are asking for the publics help finding two men accused of assaulting a driver having car trouble. Investigators released this sketch of one of the men accused of slashing the driver with a knife. That driver, a 37yearold from san jose had pulled over after a warning light came on. The incident is especially strange because the attack appears to have been unprovoked. The driver was treated for moderate injuries. Disney parks will launch a new system for disabled guests. Right now they are allowed to skip the lines with up to five guests. Starting wednesday they will have to use a system similar to fast pass.
