Topping the news this morning, the coverage of the bart labor dispute. Time is running out for a deal. They are threatening to go on strike tomorrow. Today is actually day 154. Many commuters are hoping this is the last day the contract negotiations will go on and end with a positive resolution. They have said if there is no agreement by midnight tonight. They will go on strike tomorrow morning. That will leave commuters struggling to get to work. Another agreement between bart and management wrapped up last night. Some of the sticking points remain. They include worker pay and how much workers should contribute to their healthcare and pension costs. They definitely have the resources available. They seem to be fixed on certain points.
