We have the on shore breeze, we have 25 miles an hour. That gust in fairfield this morning. That telling us that though we will warm up it shouldnt be to bad. We have a Beautiful Day in store with temperatures just a few degrees warmer than yesterday for most. 53 right now in santa rosa. 55 San Francisco, 70 antioch and livermore. San jose also 61. We get into the afternoon. That low 60s expected in areas like pacifica. 60s, 70s around the basement few 80s Mountain View and san jose. Far inland into the mid80s. Fantastic out there for the afternoon. This is the beginning of a warming trend. Temperatures will eventually get in to the upper 90s for some of us. Take a look at that extended forecast coming up. We are following developing news in concord where highway 4 has reopened following a deadly crash that claimed a baby. We are live with what police are saying about that crash. It also killed a woman and left five injured. Reporter we are live here along willow pass road where behind me is where the accident happened. Cars are driving so quickly i cant get you any closer to the scene at this point. Let me show you some video from overnight. An suv is caught on the edge of pine bridge. You can see here in the video. Its not clear who was in what car when this crash happened. We do know it was a head on collision around 11 between an suv and a large sedaa n. Concord Police Officers found the scene while he was driving eastbound on willow pass road. When he arrived he found the collision involving the two vehicles. First responders tried to saving a baby girl but she died later at a hospital from injuries she sustained in the crash a woman believed to be the driver of one of the vehicles died on scene. There have been others injured in this collision. We are still working to learn their condition. At this point officers are not releasing the names of the victims. They still need to tell next of kin. Chp was helping control traffic for a while. At this point police have cleared the scene but they are the lead investigators. For now live. Ktv channel 2news. Police are looking for two people who they say are connected to a suspicious fire at an oakland Apartment Building. Firefighters responded to the flames on east 17th at 10 45. They say an explosion in the back of the unit may have caused the fire. Investigators say two people with possible burn injuries were seen leaving the area. [inaudible] the whole place just shift. Reporter flames were under control in about 20 minutes but the building is now to unstable to live in. The American Red Cross is helping residents find a new place. Fire crews had to treat a dog with burns at the scene but no injuries were reported. Antioch police are investigating a shooting that killed a man. It happened at 9 30 on sycamorre. They were responding to reports of shots fired. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made. Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to call the Antioch Police department. Santa rosa police are asking for help in finding a teenager who has been missing for a movement police say the 14yearold Teresa Fletcher ran away from a group home on may 28 28th. She is 58, 170 pounds with brown eyes and hair, police say she has a tattoo of a flower outline on her right hip. New this morning we are learning the man accused of being the ring leader in the attack in libya has been brought to court. He was captured earlier this month and has been interrogated on the uss new york. Pride weekend is underway in San Francisco and the theme this year event is color our world with pride. The focus is on fighting discrimination around the world. The dike march and rally starts on delores at 4 00 p. M. At five the pink saturday street party and it all leads up to tomorrows pride parade in downtown San Francisco. The Ride Share Service uber is helping gay couples tie the knot for free. People can open the app and select uber wedding. They then pin their location of their ceremony and uber will come by with a notary to make it official. They will also bring a violinist, flowers and champagne. Happening today Homeless People in San Francisco will be able to take a shower on a converted muni bus. The city said an old bus was changed to include two private bathrooms. The bus will be parked at tap street between 16th and 17th in the Mission District on saturdays from 7 00 a. M. To noon. Next month the bus will head to the bayview and in the tender loin. The project is privately funded which included a hundred thousand dollar donation from google. Safe and sane fireworks go on sale today in dublin. Firefighters are asking the public to be careful and aware of the risk of wildfires. Legal fireworks can be set off between ten and ten on july 4 july 4th at four city parks. Police and firefighters say they will have extra patrols out looking for fireworks that have not been listed as safe and sane and are able to explode or fly through the air. Fireworks can also be set off on private party but should be lit at a safe distance. Three people have been arrested in a sting targeting thousands of illegal fireworks in the east bay. Police set up the sting after seeing ads for fireworks on craigslist. They seized 2500 pounds of illegal fireworks from a car and Storage Facility in antioch. Police say they are professional grade and especially dangerous due to dry conditions from the drought. The sad part is that this is just a really small scratch. Its a drop in the bucket compared to what we think is out there. Investigators believe that the fireworks were purchased in indiana for six to eight thousand dollars. They could sell for as much as 100,000 here in the bay area. Oakland firefighters will be out in force look for fireworks. All fireworks are illegal in the city of oakland and anyone caught selling them can be fined up to a thousand dollars. Firefighters are especially concerned about fireworks this year due to the amount of dry brush in the oakland hills. Illegal fireworks sparked a fire there last year. Last year right across the street from my house we had a fire. There was a fireworks that were going on, illegal fireworks and the Fire Department came by. The Border Patrol is moving forward with plans to fly undocumented immigrants from texas to california. This less than a week after some flights were canceled. Those were scheduled to take 300 families with children to san diego. Some children are also reportedly being bussed to california from texas. We have received reports that some buses have left with Illegal Immigrants headed for california. The Border Patrol hasnt said what flights will start or how many will be sent to california. The Border Patrol has made more than 174,000 arrest in the valley since october. Many of the undocumented immigrants who have been detained are children fleeing drug violence in Central America and they are traveling without their families. Rescue crews have found the body of a firefighter who went missing after chasing his dog during a backpacking trip he was last seen two weeks ago when he and a friend were hiking. He went missing after his dog ran away and then he wept to go look for it. His dog was found last sunday. Authorities say the body was found in a hard to reach area. Very rough terrain. Even when they got close the body was hidden with in the terrain. Investigators say that his body was found about three quarters of a mile and 1200 feet above where he was last seen.
