Reporter Sergeant Ray Kelley says officers repeatedly asked the woman, identified as lydia garcia, to leave. Garcia refused several times and appeared to be scared. It makes a suspicious that she probably maybe feared the person she was working for more than she feared being arrested by law enforcement. Reporter he said instead of looking as garcia as a criminal, the best getting whether she and other vendors pedro aguillar, are being exploited and possibly traffic. Aguilar was arrested on the same day as garcia about an hour earlier on the opposite end of san lorenzo. Charges against him were dropped. Were hearing now from the widow of a retired vta employee who has apparently struck and killed by the bus he just had been riding a. As Investigative Reporter Candace Nguyen shows us, the victims wife wants answers. Reporter its been two months since in a chungs death and his wife said shes waiting for answers. Operated by the same agency from which he had just retired a few months prior after nearly 40 years on the job. Defined blood on the bus immediately. Vta never contacted me at all. They never sent condolences. Nobody called me. Reporter instead of a call from the agency, mary said that night she got a knock on her door. He said im from the coroners office. They told me they think its my husband. Reporter days and weeks later, she says still nothing from vta. The mayors attorneys said they learned the buses multiple cameras were not working.
