out here, dave. Take a look behind me. You talked about this home two days ago. This was a 2 milliondollar home. The front of this home is just rubble. The stories started on monday when a neighbor noticed that the driveway was separated from the sidewalk and called the city. Officials determined that the home was not safe and needs to be demolished immediately. Demolition started yesterday after the department of
Building Inspections
red tagged the home. Neighbors say that the home was vacant. We looked online and found that it sold in october for 2. 1 million. Neighbors tell ktvu that the homeowners bought it with plans to move in next year. No word on what are the plans. Now, the homeownerrings can real estate build. You go to sleep one night, next morning you wake up and you find out theyre going to demolish the house next door, right . Reporter fortunately, nobody was in the home at the time. We told you there were plans to remodel the home. That, now, obviously not going to happen. Inspections expected to happen over the next day or so. Work expected to continue here to demolish the home. City inspectors say that the wet weather today and tomorrow could accelerate this slide and thats one the reasons why they want this process to get on its way as quickly as possible. Guys .
