A rally is planned outside of the federal courthouse in San Francisco as a trial begins in a wrongful death lawsuit against San Francisco police. The parents of of the victim filed a wrongful death lawsuit against four police officers. A jury will decide if the officers acted reasonably when they shot and killed the man in march of 2014. Officers were responding to reports of a man with a gun acting erratically. They say they feared for their lights as he pointed a gun with a red light at them. It turned out to be a taser. In san carlos power might not be restored until later today in a neighborhood where a run away dump truck slammed into a house. The crash knocked out electricity to 142 homes around windsor drive. The prosecution showed the only people inside the cell with the man were the three deputies. Defense attorneys question the timeline and suggested that other people could have entered the cell.
