That gunman was later killed in a shootout. The two wounded are veteran Police Officers, one with 28 years on the force. The other with 12 years. It was a tomb disturbance, and again, domestic calms as you know are probably the most volatile. You never know what you are walk into. That suspect identified as 23yearold. Nearby neighbors were told to stay inside as Police Search and surrounded for him. He was later killed in a gun battle with police after midnight. A Police Officers was also shot in baltimore late last night. Police say the officer was shot in the wrist as pulled over a car believerred to be connected. At least one person opened fire as the officers approached. The Police Officers did not shoot their weapons. The police are still out there looking for three suspect this is morning. The man accused of killing two palm springs Police Officers is said to john felix is facing charges of attempted murder. The officers had been called to a home on saturday and said his son was acting crazy. Police say he was wearing body armor and opened fire through a screen door with an assault rifle. Felix could get the dealt penalty if convicted. A memorial for slain officer will be held next tuesday. And prosecutors say rehami will take part from yesterday. Rehami charged with five counts of a. It is not legally binding, and there is no consequence of congressional members dont comply. There are 1. 4 million student students in California Public schools who dont speak english at home or one in five students. Prop 58 would change how many of them learn by overturning a measure passed by voters in 1998. They did away with most bilingual education in California Public schools. The measure provides more flexibility to schools to offer a variety of bilingual programs rather than englishonly classes. The goal of prop 61 is to lower Prescription Drug prices. It proposes to do this by barring state programs such as medical from paying more for a drug than the lowest price paid by the federal Veterans Affairs department which gets big discounts. Authorities say a student pilot deliberately crashed that plane after arguing with his Flight Instructor<\/a>. It happened tuesday afternoon in east hartford, connecticut. The student was killed. The Flight Instructor<\/a> that was hurt told authorities there was a struggle. The plane crashed on the a busy street near the jet engine maker. Based on the amount of people there and where the plane came down compared to where it could have come down, it could have been a tremendous loss of human life. Reporter how investigators say an initial search of the apartment of ott student pilot shows no connection to terror groups. Reportedly, the student pilot was angry with his family and said he was being forced to become a pilot. A syrian refugee with suspected ties to isis committed suicide. The suspect was being held on charges of plotting a bomb attack at a berlin airport. He used a shirt to strangle himself at the defense sister Detention Center<\/a> yesterday. He had been on a hunger strike. German authorities arrested him last sunday after putting him on surveillance. They found explosives that were more volatile and dangerous than tnt. The u. S. Military says it fired three tom hawk Cruise Missile<\/a>s into yemin and destroyed three coastal radar states. The missiles were fired in retaliation where missiles were fired at u. S. Navy ships. The navy provided this of the Cruise Missile<\/a> being launched. They were the first shots fired in the longrunning civil war. There are more than 800 polling places throughout Santa Clara County<\/a> and 1000 election workers are still needed. That includes bilingual workers, especially spanish and chinese speakers. New from overnight, sam bruno Police Investigating<\/a> the assault of a police officer. Investigators havent given us much information yet, but the confrontation reportedly happened outside the ihop just west of sfo. Workers at the restaurant tell us a man was breaking into a car in the barking parking lot when police confronted him. One officer, reportedly, was assaulted in that confrontation. Its not clear how badly he was all right. Witnesses say the man ran away and appeared to be carrying a gun. Were checking not with police now. Well bring you more as it becomes available. What started as a property dispute ended up being a day long standoff. Police were called to an Auto Parts Store<\/a> where they were told a man was stealing things. When police arrived, the suspect ran away and into the neighborhood. He broke into one house and briefly held a pregnant woman captive at knifepoint. Watch leaf after leaving there, he broke into two more homes. At that third home, he settled in. The family inside escaped but he held off police for ten hours saying he had a gun. Eventually, he surrendered peacefully, but the neighbors out there are still on edge. There are a lot of home robberies and gangs and just always problems on the east side and very hard. Its hard to feel safe in your own home or even go out. Reporter now, in case, nobody was hurt. That man was arrested for stealing about 600 in merchandise from the Auto Parts Store<\/a>. A woman was also arrested on theft charges. Both have been booked into the Santa Clara County<\/a> jail. A loamless man is blind bars this morning suspected of starting a fire along a popular walking trail in Pleasant Hill<\/a>. That fire started tuesday night in an area with a lot of vegetation near oak park boulevard. 48yearold that is correct smith who was a transient was arrested just a few hours later. Authorities are not releasing any details on what lead them to smith or how he may have started tuesdays fire. They do say there was a great concern because of the thereto surrounding homes. Were relieved to have a suspect in custody, and we hope to continue to evaluate him and connection with other incidents. Hopefully they got the right person so these fires stop. These other incidents, these fires. There was a series of suspicious fires on the nearby iron horse trail in both Pleasant Hill<\/a> and concord. There have been about 20 small fires on that trail since the summer. Well, john stump has resigned as chief executive officer of wells fargo bank. Stump had been under fire for weeks after wells fargo admitted opening 2 million unauthorized accounts in the name of customers. That lead to questions and investigations by two congressional committees. 5000 employees were fired during the probe. Now, some of those former wells fargo employees are saying its not fair they were forced out, but stump was allowed to retire. A quick update as you cant see a major hurricane with winds of 125 miles per hour. Right now, there is a very well defined eye. Definitely having the impacts of making a close approach to bermuda right now and seeing wind gusts up of up to 92 miles an hour. That is happeningenings right now. Be watching out for that all day long. As for us, with i have this this. The high clouds streaming into Northern California<\/a>. The bright green corresponds to rainfall. Not here in the bay area just yet, but that will be changing. Right now, the focus of the rainfall north. Well, coming in closer and showing you some of the current numbers out there and showing you most neighborhoods in the upper 40s to the mid 50s. Santa rosa right now 49. Livermore 48. Oakland, 59. And sfo, youre flying out in the upper east. The wind speeds right now are not strong, but by this time tomorrow, you can almost double these at least. Tomorrow we could have gusts maybe around 40 to 45 miles an hour. Right now, winds around 10 to 15. Most areas are reporting a calm wind, but that will be changing as the next storm moves in from the north. That is scheduled for tomorrow for your friday. Rainfall will be about a half an inch all the way up to three inches for the north bay and coastal hims and winds aapproaching 40 to 45 miles an hour. Rain timeline. Now, the timing will be just in time for the friday morning commute. You can see those rainfall rates really increasing here. The moderate to heavy range and it will scale back later in the afternoon between 2 00 and 5 00. As far as those numbers that are really adding up. Were not just talking about a few hundredths of an inch here.
