When you do make it across into San Francisco, there is a motorcycle accident in San Francisco, along southbound 101 in the vicinity of cesar chavez. It is involving a motorcyclist. Now they have Fire Department and medics on the way. This is a big mess. It may affect your drive off the bay bridge, if it backs up along the sky way. This commute is interconnected. We will watch it for you closely. Lets go back to the desk. Authorities have captured the fourth and final inmate on the run following a jail break in Santa Clara County. Janine de la vega live in san jose. Janine de la vega, he was arrested after a sevenhour standoff. Reporter yes, he was. Chavez was take known custody without incident. There was no struggle. We are told that he was high on drugs and in possession of crack cocaine. Chavez is now being housed here at the main jail. Here is video of 33yearold chavez being walked out of the duplex in south san jose around 8 30 last night. Sheriffs officials had been at the home on coy drive Near Oak Ridge High School for seven hours. They learned one of chavezs friends lived there. They were trying to get him to come out of the house. They deployed tear gas. They entered and ultimately found chavez in a room. A female residence, carla fernandez, was also arrested for resisting and obstructing an investigation, being a felon in possession of a firearm and being an accessory to chavezs escape. Reporter investigators say there may be more arrests if they determine that others were helping to hide chavez. 24 hours before the arrest, the u. S. Marshal service caught the inmate that escaped with him, leron campbell. He was found hiding in the attic of his sisters apartment. The first two inmates were immediately caught. They had cut through steel bars and climbed down a second Story Building using bed sheets as a rope. We are told, dave, this woman worked as a pe teacher here at Washington High School in fremont since 2008. This morning she is on unpaid leave and will not be returning to the district. District officials do confirm that 32yearold corey at iock was arrested last week and accused of having inappropriate relationship with a student. Its unclear what school the student attended. The crime in question happened over this past summer. Unclear exactly why the arrest was made just now. What were your thoughts when you found out what happened and how are you responding . Certainly. So any incident like this that happens, obviously our first focus is trying to do everything that we can to help the Police Department, support their investigation, to make sure that it is complete and thorough. Secondly, focus on students. What is in the best interest of students, keeping them safe. And third, obviously today, trying to maintain normalcy and calm on the campus. We sent a letter to all of the parents in the Washington High School community, informing them, trying to share as much information as we can with parents so that they know what is happening and they understand the steps that were taking to protect kids. More information is coming out about the Shasta County woman who was freed after being kidnapped and kept for three weeks. I will confirm that the suspects did brand her. What is described as intense interviews, Sherri Papini told investigators who armed Hispanic Women abducted her. It will be difficult to create a composite because the captors hid their faces and at times covered Sherri Papinis head so she couldnt see anything. Although no one claimed the money, a friend of Sherri Papini and a consultant says the money may have made a difference. It was an incredibly large sum of money. Six figures. No dollar amount. The Nonpartisan Kaiser Family Foundation conducted the survey one week after the election and found 26 of respondents say they supported repelling the Affordable Care act. Even republicans who backed trump had a change of heart. In october the same survey found 69 of republicans wanted the law repel. After the election the number dropped to 52 . And now it is beginning to affect not only 101 but the traffic coming off the bay bridge westbound is slow right as you get off the bay bridge because of this crash 101 at cesar chavez. If the crash is San Francisco affects traffic on the bay bridge, it will affect traffic at the toll plaza too.
