Authorities believe he was seen los delavagos area. Reporter this man was last seen in on locust drive and they told people in the area they needed to secure their homes. its unknown where this man is hiding at this hour. Authorities spent the night looking in the los gados area. The latest update is they received a 911 call at 10 00 last night from a man who says a man broke into her home on locust drive and held a knife toher. The suspect took off in the womans van and dumped it. Investigators believe the man is the bank robber. This is the only picture we have of the man. His face is completely covered in a mask. The manhunt started after he robbed a bank of america yesterday morning and then sped off in a White Chrysler on highway 17. He crashed it trying to elude police. A Scotts ValleyPolice Officer opened fire at the robber near the Redwood Estates area but its unknown if he was hit. The thief then ran off into the woods after that. I saw him run across. I saw him wearing completely black. He just ran away. I didnt see his face or anything but he had a blackout fit. Reporter authorities searched for the robber and people in the Redwood Estates area were told to stay indoors. Highway 17 was closed for nine hours but finally reopened at 8 00 last night and thats a welcome relief. Highway 17 has been plagued with mud slides and downed trees because of the recent rains. We are supposed to get an update from the Sheriffs Office sometime in the 8 00 hour. There are reports that the suspect may have changed clothes. New this morning, interstate 580 in dublin is open again in time for this friday morning commute after being shut down for hours because of a big rig crash. These are live pictures. At 6 00 last night at the worst time of the evening commute, there was a big rig crash that collided with at least one and maybe several cars on inter interstate 580 east of 680. No word of injuries but there were a lot of very angry and frustrated drivers who waited for hours for the chp to reopen one westbound lane of 580. Time is 7 06. Criminal proceeding against a woman charged in a brutal killing have been suspended now. A judge hearing the case against laura rogers ordered she be examined to determine if shes competent enough to stand trial. Rogers and her boyfriend are accused of luring the woman to a park in east oakland last november. Thats where she was stabbed, beaten and set on fire. Taylor is expected to enter a plea next month. An avalanche dragged them down a mount. Three hikers were walking on unstable snow right before the ground gave way. A rescue helicopter from the San BernardinoFire Department was able to find the hikers, take them to safety. One hiker crawled through the snow until he found Cell Phone Service then called 911 for help. While two of the hikers were not hurt, a third hiker was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
