Were told the victim was hiking at eagle rock trail when she fell 25 to 50 feet into the rocky area below. As you can see, this is a steep cliff. Rescuers say the woman was unconscious when crews got the call about 90 minutes ago and remained unconscious the entire time. Shes being taken by helicopter to Regional Medical center in san jose. Two people died this morning when a news helicopter crashed in seattle. Passersby could only watch in moror as the aircraft burned on the street not far from the space needle. It was taken off from the komo news station. The pilot and photographer were on board. A man in a car below was able to escape the fire and was taken to the hospital. And then by the time all of the smoke and everything came up, i had i could barely see the guy getting out of his car on fire. Literally on fire burning. Seattle ally mayor spoke in the last hour and said the site will need to be secured for several days as the ntsb is investigating. Three teens from California High School are being called heroes for saving a 94yearold woman and her daughter. This is California High School. And this is where the three students go to school. Here on campus, word is getting out about the heroic behavior. The three students, as you mentioned, help rescue a 94 yearold woman, her 75yearold daughter, and a dog from this burning home in san ramon, as you saw yesterday on the noon news. The students say when they noticed the smoke, they drove up to see what was burning. They learned someone was still inside. Another neighbor was already in the burning home and asked for the boys help getting out the elderly lady. The students say they acted without too much thought and didnt have time to be scared. I wasnt necessarily thinking about it in the moment. It was now that i think about it, it was crazy. I cant believe i did that. But just in the moment, it was instinct. We all were talking about it after and like this morning, too. Literally like a movie. It was just like i never seen a fire like that ever. I had seen campfires. I had never seen a fire like that in my life. When we walked into the side, i saw the house burning and all of the black smoke. I was just i was like wow. Exceptionally proud that the three young men would reach out and do Something Like that because they could have easily kept walking but they saw smoke so they moved towards where the fire was and ultimately saved somebody.
