The accident happened a mile and a half from the last place friends saw him at a usc Fraternity Party thats about a 25 minute walk. He sounded very scared. Very worried. Grim news for those who knew him. Eloy always had a way excuse me. He always had a way of making you laugh and he brought energy to the room. Reporter vasquez margolen was a stand out Soccer Player recruited to play at cal. His coach says eloy was on the path to the pros. You can just tell he was a bright plan. So mature for his age. Reporter a bright guy with big dreams. This is when he was in high school. Reporter when we talked to eloys grandmother she recounted sending him off for spring break hoping he would make good memories. I took him to the b. A. R. T. Station and he said i love you nana. That was it. Reporter a memory no grandmother expects will be the last. Reporter his family is understandably devastated at this outcome. And when you talk to his family and friends you get an understanding of who he was. And we now go to Debora Villalon at is usc campus where eloy was an athlete star. Reporter vasquez commuted from marin to these fields. Thats 150 miles round trip without hesitation. We spent a lot of time together. We train almost every day. Reporter Eric Yamamoto coached vasquez. The thing about eloy was his mentality was outstanding. He is a very smart guy. Reporter soccer can be all consuming and hyper competitive. But those who knew vasquez said he always stayed committed. He worked to be able to pay for gas. Reporter working whenever he could at camps or youth coaching to help his family with his own travel expenses. Eloy was a great kid. None of us knew what happened. What he was thinking. Reporter these two teammates from the forest remember many hours on this field with him. I can pretty much just see him running around smiling when we were playing touching the ball. Reporter they say he was a game changer. Who played the game with a joy of a child. Being on his team, also like made you cherish soccer. He was such a great futboler. Police say the man is the only person inside the house and they are working to establish communication with him. An sfpd spokesperson says they want to get him the help he needs so everything ends peacefully. Scores of people marched protesting the arch bishops decision. Reporter the march started at Mission Dolores church and there was singing along with speakers and a vigil. Demonstrators were upset with arch bishops requirement that teachers at four catholic high schools be required to sign a morality clause. Religious freedom is not a license to discriminate and abuse our children and teachers in our school. It is not. Protesters plan to deliver petitions asking the arch bishop to promote acceptance and support teachers rights. San quentin prison is running out of of room. The facility can only accommodate 715. Governor brown wants the state to the largest Pharmacist Group adopted a new policy discouraging its members from providing execution drugs to prisons. Execution drugs have been harder to come by in recent years. Tennessee has approved the use of the electric chair and in utah they use firing squads if lethal injection drugs are not available. This is the 95 page criminal complaint that accuses the two agents of criminal acts including selling government information to the suspect that they were trying to catch. The two agents were part of a federal task force that took down the silk road website. An online marketplace. That led to the arrest of ross albrick who was accused of operating the silk road website. The defendants are sean w. Bridges, a special agent. And 46yearold carl force a special agent with the Drug Enforcement administration. Theyre accused of stealing from the government. From albrick and even selling government information to albrick during the investigation. An investigator with the irs uncovered the case. Bridges faces fraud and laundering money. He was assigned to create a persona and communicate with albrick online. But he crossed the line, creating extra personas to receive bit coins and funneling to a different account. While Law Enforcement corruption is nothing new, experts say Digital Currency in some way make it easier to follow the money. In many ways its now becoming easier to apprehend people on offenses like this than it used to be. The chp is looking for a driver who shot and wounded a boy in another car in what may have been a road rage incident. Reporter the story is similar to two other attempted kidnappings near tennison high school within the last six weeks. All three suspects appear to be similar and were each driving a white car. Its possible the cases are linked and theres similarities within the cases too. All three were within 15 and 16 years old, short with brown hair and were walking alone. Each of the attacks happened on friday. It could happen to anybody. We would certainly like people to walk home together from school. Kids to walk home together, to be careful. It makes me nervous because i do walk around by myself or just me and a couple of friends. Police cannot say if this man is involved but they can say theyre doing Everything Possible to take him off the streets.
