The 34yearold was on his way back to the United States when something went wrong. Witnesses say he had steered his jet away from a populated neighborhood 70 miles from london, waiting to bail out until his jet crashed. He did not survive and his family is not surprised at his heroism. He thought more of others than he did himself. Every child is very special to the parent. But i think it was beyond that. He had to have been the best. Reporter he had spoken with his son two hours before the crash and they made plans to meet in san diego. His last words were dad, see you in two days. We had planned big things on his arrival. Reporter he knew that his family worried for his safety. They describe their sons outgoing snotty as a people person who loved adventure, which is why he became if either pilot. And he had lofty goals for his host military life. The family says he loved flying and loved being a marine. Now to the east bay, five High School Students were taken to the hospital after they started acting strangely. Officials at the haskell say seven students saw a controlled substance. There were concerns about their wellbeing that surfaced at one time. Seven students were acting in a way that gave them concerned, and they notified Health Officials and law enforcement. Reporter Health Officials confirmed that the students were under the influence of a Prescription Drug used to treat anxiety. Its unknown how much they ingested or where they got it. A fire in richmond sent a black cloud of smoke. A detached garage burned. People posted videos on instagram. The home and garage are on 22nd street. We have been told that they have been abandoned for some time. The fire is now out and there were no injuries and the cause is still under investigation. Suspects were chased into a Housing Project in the bayview. It was overhead as one of the departments tactical vehicles carried the swat team to the department. Police tell us all of this started when they tried to stop the car. The suspect smashed into a heart car. Police thought he ran inside of this unit and barricaded himself inside. They did find a gun in the car that she was driving. Growing concerns about coyotes after several attacks from dogs. In less than one decade, coyotes have taken a big foothold in the city. Residents are alarmed. They attended a meeting tonight where officials got in your full from coyote critics. Reporter it is an emotional issue. We are at stern grove where dogs were recently attacked. City policies remain coexistent. We are protected by state law. For two hours, cushions and complaints. City officials are hearing loud and clear that for many, the novelty is gone. We need safe places for our dogs to be off leash. Some brought their docks. Coyotes pounced in the area. Are we waiting and helping . Or are we feeling unsafe . It is a people problem. They reminded the crowd that dogs can be the instigators, but coexistence is on everyone being aware and conscious. Dogs and cats are going to be taken. It is going to happen. They are taking our animals. We need to do Something Else and we should consider eradication. Reporter not an option under city policy. Sterilization and relocation were also thought ineffective. And some say residents have to teach coyotes by taking away food sources and keeping them scared of people. He grabbed some razors and try to leave and workers stopped him and they got into a fight. The confrontation happened on northpark boulevard. One worker was stabbed in the back and the others had stab wounds to their forearms. All of them were taken to a hospital and should recover. The shoplifter got away. Police are searching the area for him. Frightening moments for a man in the south bay who found burglars ransacking his house. But as our reporter tells, he did not give out give up without a fight and he paid for it with a bullet to the shoulder. She is joining the others on assessment street. She is unique and celebrated for being different. Julia has autism and she does things a little differently. We need to teach our kids the differences, different abilities and special needs that these children have. I thought they were finally doing it. Can i do it . Reporter julia does not look at abby. She is on their website. Her addition their daughter was born with autism spectrum disorder. Very few people knew about autism. It was the first time we were told that word. Reporter they have tried hard to talk about autism. They are on the cover of the fall autism bay area magazine. This is my daughter. She has autism. Reporter she makes next necklaces and earrings and donates the money for artists with develop mental disorders. They are looking to take away the stigma. Being different is cool. The focus is to be together. I think that is the best message we can give. Reporter julia has not made her debut. But when she does, a lot of people will be watching.
