First, claims of treatment thats inhumane, and unconstitutional. The federal lawsuit targeting a bay area jail. a; lawsuit filed today against Santa Clara County<\/a> alleges conditions in the main jail are inhumane. It claims that the jails solitary confinement cells are inhumane. Tiny concrete jail cells as little as 6 feet by 7 feet, and keeping them there for months or even years at at time. Conditions in santa clara are worse than weve seen at many other jails, and certainly worse than whats happening in the state prison system. In response, the Sheriffs Department<\/a> would not specifically comment. Richmonds departing police chief chris magnus is confirming the decision to leave. Ill admit, its bittersweet, because this is a place that ive really come to love. I have a lot of strong relationships here. We cant underestimate that the fire itself, and the clean up efforts has recirculated dusts and pollens in the air that has caused problems for breathing, asthma, allergies. Reporter the lake County District<\/a> is monitoring the dust particulates to the air, but they say the air quality is good. And theyve only received a few complaints. The people with underlying conditions should try to stay away from clean up sites. They said when i went in, it was totally stress induced migraines. But, that area, that area of moisture is going to drop down as we head into the end of the weekend, and early next week. Thats when the rain should start in ernest. That looks good. As far as the model run, it looks pretty good. Well see how tomorrow morning looks and well keep dialing it in. Right now, the models are in a pretty good consensus for a wet pattern. You saw those yellows, highs in the 70s in the warmer spots tomorrow. Thursday, through sunday, this High Pressure<\/a> continues that pattern. Next week, this low pressure drops in, and thats what were tracking for the rain event next week. So here we are, first and second of november, we had rain, the 9th, the 15th. As we head into tuesday and wednesday, and even beyond this, this is when the computer model wants to dial in some rain. Stay tuned, but particular loose like we might get a little something.
