A Homicide Investigation is underway in concord after a man was found in the road shot to death. Investigators say the man was killed at about 11 30 last night near the intersection of monument boulevard. Witnesses heard gunshots and saw a man lying in the roadway. Once officers arrived, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the victims name. Police are looking for a man armed in dangerous in rohnert park. He shot his wife in the chest an ran off armed with a gun. The victim had recently moved out of the home she shared with him. She filed a report with Police Telling officers her husband said he would shoot and kill her before he let her leave him. The victim is expected to survive. Stanford students demanding the university divest from fossil fuel companies ended their week long sitin after meeting with the schools president. A Tree Lighting event and concert planned for december 1. A celebration in oakland as people came together for a block party. The Police Department and a number of agencies sponsored the event to mark a beautification project. The city and the residents have worked together to cleanup the neighborhood around 71st avenue and hamilton street.
