This morning residents throughout new jersey continue to clean up after Severe Weather, yesterday. Down trees are causing much of the problem. That includes on park avenue in collinswood where sidewalks were damage after a huge tree were up rooted there. One tree over on stokes avenue a neighbor says it appears whatever passed through cleared the top of the trees outside his home. It sounded like a plane going over the house, super loud, my wife woke up, dragged me out of the bed, out front, and there was trees all over the place. I didnt know what was going on until neighbors were out and Fire Department came. High wind snapped power lines in some neighborhood. Weather officials confirmed, two tornadoes touched down in Monmouth County including this one in a home depot parking lot in howell. Storm destroyed nearby power lines with wind so powerful even some cars were flipped over, no injuries were reported there. In other news this morning a dramatic pursuit in a 10 hour barricade situation end with the man and woman dead in lehigh county. Investigators believe the couple died by murder suicide last night in upper saucon township. Their bodies were found in the attic of the home they were held up in. Officials say couple fired shots when officers attempted a traffic stop around noon time there and then man and woman drove away. After their car got stuck in the mud bank the couple then ran away. They approached several people demanding car keys and authorities were extremely careful when approaching the suspects. The individual entered at lee two homes that we know of, which were occupied at the time. A robot was sent n tear gas was deployed into the property e ert team made entry and discovered two deceased, persons, in the a particular. Looking at 86 compared to our temperature average not just for this month where we are right around 85 but even through july and august that 86 is close to the climate average in july, august where we will see 87 and 84. We will finally see temperatures that are back down where they should be for the middle and end of june. Monday for us after 86 today we will get to 80. Tomorrow we will get as high as 79 on tuesday below normal and then backup to 80 by wednesday. Heat and humidity start to return in the second half of our workweek.
