aware of it and then the job is put the facts against that standard. do the facts about trump meet the constitutional standard? >> okay. sort of like a playbook at best? >> you know, yes, basically what's the law? what does the constitution say? what do other impeachments held -- and of course heard from several distinguished scholars, the committee, and the american people, those who could see it can look at the report and get their own view of what is an impeachable offense. to me it means, you have treason, bribery, explicitly mentioned, or other high crimes and misdemeanors, grave and dangerous offenses that threaten our democracy. >> talk about that. we don't exactly know what charges the judiciary committee will come up with but a lot of talk of obstruction. you mentioned bribery, abuse of power. sounds kind of right. >> right. but bribery itself is a specific charge in the constitution. and it doesn't depend on the u.s. statute, because there was no bribery statute at the time
