Thank you commissioner president covington and good afternoon, commissioners since march 9 our Budget Committee will be meeting with kate howard this friday march 25 in room 201 and i know the past weve had commissioner Vice President cleaveland attend i think you have it on your schedule we hope to do review with the mayors director we met with the members of the committee to talk about the needs in catching for the years we had to reduce the operating budget the biggest priority is the fleet plan so we will hopefully come out of that meeting with some direction the Mayors Office id like ill be happy to report at the next meeting april 15th. Okay you may proceed thank you good evening commissioner president covington and members of the Fire Commission ramon deputy chief of the administration in that my administrative report for 2016 ill start with training with the assistant chief as the chief mentions is the states on the current one and 19 and if i can delineate i want to mention in order to meet the requirement of accreditation we had to include additional training topics some of the items that have been curiosity the academy required to be expanded for example, wildland two days of training expands to fifth story days of training and additional lectures and training he under the current 17 weeks it would have cut out time tasks for the folks we believe that the recruits should have the most opportunity to become comfortable with the commit and anything less would insure possible failures we wanted to expand the academy to make sure we can see its success.
