Hes headed home to recover and also to meet with police later on this evening. He said he can give them a detailed description of his attacker. How is your husband doing . Hes good. Reporter with two of her four children by her son, the wife of david oh left the hospital this afternoon in good spirits, encouraged by her husbands progress this as the search for the attacker continues. We were in the neighborhood earlier. People who live there know this is where the councilman lives, his mother lives nearby but you dont believe this was targeted. Absolutely not. Hes a good man. Reporter neighbors who is the block captain and helps take care of councilman ohs 96yearold mother heard the commotion. David oh began to unload bags from his suv. A man approached from behind. The councilman asked if he needed help. The man demanded keys to his car and stabbed him. Mr. David was out here and had his hands up to the shirt. His wife was frantic, he was trying to calm her down and then the police was on the scene. This guy was not going to stop. If the councilman didnt fight back he would have been stabbed multiple times. Reporter a camera that was just a few doors down from the councilmans house was not working. They have some cell phone video that a neighbor took of a white car in the area that seemed out of place. We spoke with residents with what they call a crime epidemic in their philadelphia neighborhoods. They say theres a Silver Lining to this highprofile crime. Now this fulfilled a Campaign Promise for President Trump because the United States will stop implementing the paris accord. He did say, those the country cares deeply about the environment. Were getting out and start to negotiate and see if we can make a deal thats fair. If we can, thats great. If we cant, thats fine. As president i can put no other consideration before the well being of american citizens. The Paris Climate Accord is simply the latest example of washington entering into an agreement that disadvantages the United States. Reaction to this coming in even before the president stepped into the rose garden. Democrats raising alarm, environmentalists but also pence republican congressman. He just said if america will be a Global Leader it needs have a seat at the table. Some believe that coming out of this agreement that seizes the u. S. Leadership to china. Were told it was a hospital worker standing under that overhang who saw the attack, came across the street and saved that womans life. She didnt know what was happening around 11 00 last night when she came to check on her properties. Its surprising because around this part of frank further because were so close to the area hospital as well as terminal you would think this part is safer. Reporter even with all that activity under the l and feet from the hospital a 29yearold woman fell prey to a vicious attack. A man who beat her so severely shes unable to talk with investigators and still on a breathing tube. The attacker tried to stuff the woman in a trash bag but ran off when a hospital worker spotted it. I never heard see that. So i never look down here. So im very surprised.
