going to see the temperatures headed back up. a quick look athe yesterday. the recap shows widespread amounts all over the place, but you get the idea here, a nice amount of rain and of course, it don't need it quite as badly in northern new hampshire. this is the area that needs it the most. of course, some nice rainfall tallies there. how are we doing so far? october. over six inches of rain and since september 1st, over nine inches of rain and both of these are about two, two and a half inches above average, so we're certainly trying to make some headway here. we're six inches below for the entire year and that's a lot better than we were a couple of months ago anyway, so we've made some progress. all right, a look at the rain moving in. there's light rain falling down in parts of western new hampshire and moving eastward and o rolls through this morning, a little bit of a break and more showers at times through the mid day hours. after that, we see a calm bit of weather for saturday morning, we're looking at temperatures. pretty classic late october. pretty much what you'd expect, maybe warmer than what you'd expect for this time of year and there are showers in the area as well. we have some gusty wind yesterday and it's calmed down quite a bit and almost no wind right now and there won't be a whole lot through the day as well. sunrise not until 7:18. now getting later and later. of course, it is, i believe, next weekend that we'll be turning those clocks back. so that will change that a little bit. and this afternoon, your average or normal high for concord is 56. we'll come close to that, probably won much needed rain continues to fall. it's certainly not fixing our drought situation, but every drop helps and the fact that we keep seeing rainfall amounts like this every few days has really upped the numbers, at least and made it look better and getting more ground water before we freeze the ground and nothing else can get in there. so, that's a real good thing. don't want to lock it in with a drought in place. concord. the first to over nine inches of rainfall and that's two to two and a half inches above average for this month alone. and six inches for the year. that's concord. some areas farther south manchester and southeastern new hampshire, a little bit more in the deficit than concord. here is the clouds that have been taking over and rain showers moving through. this is light rain, although there's some slightly heavier showers that will skim parts o for the most part. light showers and sprinkles moving through right now. and a second spoke of precipitation moving over lake ontario right now, that could move through the state a little later on this morning, through the mid day hours. so some off and on hours at times, cloudy, a peek or two of the sunshine then. a bit of a break throughout much of tomorrow. this cold front here will sink through tonight and move in tomorrow and it keeps the there could be a shower or two. here is the warmer air that's pushing in our direction. let's take it step by step here and show you the showers here. as they move through, you can see a couple of showers, a downpour in a few spots through the midday hours and then this afternoon drying out a little bit. and tomorrow, there's a little bit more sunshine on the way for tomorrow and milder temperatures so those temps today, 40's in the northern half of the state and 50's in the southern hal not quite as chilly tonight. look at that, 40's near 50 for lows and then tomorrow, a couple of degrees milder perhaps as those temperatures are going to be heading upwards as we go through the next week or so. 50's and even 60's are on the way for this week. we'll take another look in a few minutes. >> now, jamie staten point, north scored touchdowns and nine straight force a fumble and kept up a drive, and a 24-yard touchdown run. north rolls to 67-36 win and they'll host a playoff game next week. merrimack and goffstown, there was the single season touchdown pass records with two last night and he can set the record in the playoffs as they beat goffstown. they'll host goffstown next week and bedford, and salem. there was a victory for the owls, that was a tight one at lancer park. and the astros end their season with a victory and an 88 yard kickoff return for a touchdown. exeter wins at al vern, ran far two scores and threw a pass to zack knight. christian pete had the big and three touchdowns over spalleden. warriors win it 41-14. and all about the defense. and returned for a touchdown. division two now, this is john stark and hanover. hanover trying to cap off an undefeated season and they were at home. and stark had other ideas. a kick here found some room through the magic of television, right there and the generals have the touchdown, hanover struggled, and a nice ball to elliott kelly and that drive would stall though. this one ends up going to john stark, 42-19 he'll likely be the number two seed in the playoffs coming up. >> all right. this is plymouth and bobcat and in plymouth and white, third quarter. colby moore takes off on a touchdown run. plymouth had point. this was certainly a hard-hitting game. coming up, exhibit a, spartans running back tj anderson gets drilled by rowen drew of the bobcat. and hard to tell if both or who will go to the playoffs. li likely plymouth for sure. and pelham gets a win, 25-0 on all right, let's check out st. thomas and trinity, and in the first half, bouchard will keep it around the left side and a miss and he's gone. that's a 44 had-yard touchdown, 21-0. in the second quarter. trinity foster, they'll have the receiver. and the saints go on the road. they're playoff bound, 35-7 and they'll be back to defend their state championship as it and see if they make the playoffs. >> all right, we go to division three, strike up the monadnock band, they're looking for an undefeated years. and a 30-yard touchdown run that made it 7-0. the huskies will add to their lead. and huskies win 20-6. they're 8-0. the playoffs. congrats to them. senior night for kearsarge, hosted the interlakes lakers and they leaned on the big top running back, and ran for 258 yards for the game and the season and he begins the new hampshire regular season rushing title. 2,116 rushing yards and a nice play for interlakes there as robinson found sheehan, but them. 37-14. they may have just played their way into the playoffs. >> all right, let's check out fall mountain now, third quarter, fall mountain trying to cut into the lead. a 16 yard touchdown run down to-- or run down to the one yardline and they would like it 19-6. and fall mountain collecting for wildcats strikes here and mascoma wins 19-12. so that's your friday night have a great weekend. >> still ahead here on news 9 this morning, a once struggling industry in new hampshire is making a comeback. how a local company is helping to bring fresh eggs to staters while
