"action news" reporter annie mccormack was at the funeral and has the details. >> ♪♪ >> reporter: sergeant robert wilson the third died a hero but will always than men for that smile. >> that smile everybody knows that smile. i can go on and on about the stories we had about the smile. >> reporter: his pavesser damon stevenson for the emotions as he work his way to the microphone. march 5th the nine year veteran and father of two went in the north fill game stop in uniform when two armed gunman attempted to rob the store and opened fire. wilson took both of them on saving customer's lives. >> i have been in policing for 46 years and i have never witnessed an act of bravery like i saw that day. >> reporter: topo lease brass watched surveillance video capturing the murder. >> it is something that is haunting and it is painful but at the the same time there is pride, pride that we walked alongside of a man that had the kind of courage and determination that robert francis wilson the third had. >> reporter: commissioner ramsey and mayor michael nutter recounted wilson's final moments in the emergency room. >> i saw his heartbeating. he for the. valiantly. just as he for the in that store when two cowards came upon him. >> reporter: and made the decision in the only to posthumously promote wilson to sergeant but to award him the medal of honor and valor and effectively immediately rename medal of valor after robert wilson the third. police officers from across the country came out to the funeral today. they said it was important to show their support for philadelphia's finest. >> to see everybody come out and honor him all of the cops, all of the community, i just want to thank everyone for paying their respects to robert wilson. >> reporter: in university city annie mccormack for channel six "action news". we stream the viewing and funeral for sergeant wilson live this morning on six abc.com. our coverage continues there right the now with details from today's tribute video reports from our coverage and a collection of photos from the funeral procession and both viewings. we invite you to check it out at six abc.com. new at the 11:00 southbound 495 is opened. three vehicles crashed just near lieutenant 13. it started when a vehicle wifed to avoid debris on the interstate and then struck a barrier. a second driver swiped that car and then a limo crashed into them. seven people were taken to the hospital. we're toll all injuries are minor. also new a man has been taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car this evening in the parking lot of a liquor store in wilmington. the it happened on the 3800 block of lancaster pike at about 8:30. investigators say the the victim had just gotten out of the car when the driver of the car suddenly accelerated striking him. the driver has been since arrested under suspicion of dui. the victim remains hospitalized in stable condition. in south philadelphia two women were hurt after a car crash near fifth and bainbridge. they were trapped inside of a car after it flipped over and hit a building at 8:30 tonight. crews were able to get both women out. one was taken to jefferson hospital with neck and back pain. the other was taken to hahnemann hospital and her condition remains unknown at this time. well, two buildings collapse today in philadelphia over the span of just a few hours. tonight both collapses are being investigated. the first happened in the city's kensington section at 4:30a m with someone inside. the second in the city's mantua section occurred at four hours later. "action news" reporter dann cuellar is live in mantua with the details, hi there, dann. >> reporter: how are you doing, walter this home here in the 600 block of union is second to collapse within a 24 hour period. it collapsed around 8:30 this morning. fortunately officials say the building was vacant and there were no injuries but that was not the case in kensington where a home owner was seriously injured when his home collapsed with him in it. it was around 4:30 this morning while he was in the bathroom. this dramatic footage was captured by an "action news" viewer moments after the house collapsed in the 2700 block of emerald. >> out of no where we just hear boom. and then i woke up. my brother already woke up. he was like what happened. i was like i don't know. >> i told my husband and said i thinker cemetery in lansdowne's house blew up. we came out looking. we were all screaming eric eric. >> reporter: the footage show eric carol the home owner trying to climb out of the debris but his sister says he was partially paralyzed on the right side even before the collapse and was having difficulty getting out. >> thank god he is alive. thank god he is alive. that is it. >> it is like he has nine lives anyway. he has been through everything. >> reporter: relatives say carol recently lost his mother, best friend and aunt all within the last few months. now they say he not only lost his house but he is in the hospital with a broken back and will to have undergo surgery tomorrow. they say the the city had recently warned him his home was in imminent danger on have collapse and needed to get out. >> his house has been falling down since i was little. it has been tipped to the side. like everybody has been trying to tell him that the the house is going to fall down. >> reporter: looking at debris neighbors said it looks like a bomb felon carol's home and they are amazed he is alive at all. >> he has somebody watching him because he should have been dead. >> reporter: relatives say that there is a 50/50 chance that eric carol will be able to walk again. or he could be paralyzed for the rest of his life. the right now they are just hoping and praying for street level with storm tracker six radar. you can see light rainfall, and showers really there in hammington, mays landing down to millville and fortecue and east ward into sea isle city, atlantic city up to surf city. but this moisture is departing from the westerly and easterly direction. overnight we will get more clearing. we will show you the picture outside. action cam is outside. this is a gorgeous shot. you can see in the distance city lights reflecting in the water there if you look up close we have leaves in the trees, and you can see the rain drops, on the leaves, as well. pretty nice shot there on this saturday night a lot of that moisture is starting to move off to our east. the temperatures, however still in the upper 40's, lower 50's. fifty-two in millville. forty-eight in philadelphia. thirty-nine in allentown. lehigh valley. forty-one in the poconos. wildwood 53. lower 50's as well in atlantic city. here's satellite six with action radar. across the region we have pick up and a half inch have of rainfall. that precipitation moves to the north and east. there is however a upper level low that will start to migrate through as we get in the second half of our weekend. if you are north of the city right through the higher terrain with the cool pocket of air aloft there could be a stray shower. otherwise definitely better half of the weekend on the way. area of low pressure departs to the north and east. high pressure works eastward. we have cloud and some sunshine. spotty shower north of the city. high temperature coming in at 51 degrees. we will pick up philadelphia, to up to 36 miles an hour, in the poconos. and then as we go throughout the afternoon hours and that area of low pressure gets close to our region in the upper levels of the at a months
