A man walks into a metro pcs store then about 20 minutes later, he s wheeled out on a stretcher. It s all caught on nearby surveillance video. That man according to
Court Documents
is sylvester lipscombe. He was shot by a clerk when he was trying to rob the cell phone stores. Court documents say metro pcs is just one of the several stores that lipscome robbed. In fact a search warrant affidavit says he could be connected to seven other robberies in
Hampton Roads
in newport news, hampton, and suffolk. According to the paperwork, one of those robberies was at a hampton checksmart. Court documents say lipscombe held up a woman at gunpoint ass he was walking out of the store on mercury boulevard then he robbed the store. Then three weeks later he struck again. This time at the metro pcs store on

boulevard. It s they finally caught up to him. Court documents say as he ran toward the counter with a gun, he was shot in the stomach by a clerk. Then after being shot, lipscombe told the clerk the gun was fake, and told the clerk quote i need the money, i have kids. Let me go. Officers showed up shortly after and he was taken to the hospital. Officers showed up on scene shortly after he was shot police took him to the hospital. Since he s been released from there he s now in custody.
